Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

I was in town for business and i noticed the restaurant from driving down the road and thought I would check it out.
I had not had Italian food in a while at a restaurant. When I walked in they greeted me and were very friendly.I loved how the restaurant was decorated , it was a lot of Italian phots of different actors and actresses and a lot of memorabilia.The waitress that waited on me was very friendly. I was by myself and she explained that they serve food family style and with it just being me that may be too much food and would have leftovers.She suggested the lunch menu where I ordered the lasagna and a Salad.It was delicious and was homemade!The lasagna was seasoned so good.I decided to get the chocolate chip Cannoli , that was also delicious and homemade at the restaurant.I had a very good experience and will definitely come back when I am in Atlanta.

I have not been here in awhile and I completely forgot how over priced this place is. $30 for a bowl of noodles and sauce. Even if it is a large portion. This is insane.

I don’t understand how this restaurant even has 3 stars. I arrived at this restaurant on a Friday night at 8 pm and we had to wait in an empty restaurant for about 10 minutes to get seated. Then we had to wait an additional 30 minutes until we were greeted. The drinks took another 25 minutes and were absolutely terrible because their “bartender was out”. The food took forever, of course, and was terrible. The plain pasta tasted like seafood… I don’t understand how that even happens. This place should be closed and I don’t recommend eating here EVER. PLEASE READ BEFORE THINKING ABOUT SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON TERRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE!

Monica waited on me and she is an absolute delight, true 5 star service. The food was excellent. I had a perfect meal with plenty of leftovers so I don’t have to cook for days. I had the chicken parm, a spicy chicken rigatoni dish with peas and their Rosa sauce, and for dessert Monica recommended the lemon flavor Italian cake with raspberry sauce which was divine (not too sweet but just sweet enough), and light enough for a hot Atlanta day. It was remarkably well balanced (as not too lemony either). I could tell everything was made with a lot of love and that is most important.

The male server was great. But the female server was very slow. We ordered chicken parm. It was never made it to our table. She brought wine that we didn't order. It had taken over 20 minutes to bring a refill of ice tea etc. The food portions was great. I will try again and hopefully I'll see improvement on my next visit.

Horrible management team. Cook is a creep who likes to touch on young girls. Monica the manager is VERY unprofessional.

If I could give this restaurant a 0 star, trust me I would. For starters, we get there and order apps. The calamari had FRIED SHIRMP from YESTERDAY. The food was flavorless, and it was cold. Sadly, it ruined my brothers birthday. There was only one server, and he did a great job. However, when asked to speak to the manager because the food was horrible he only comped off one meal, even though we clearly did not eat nothing. We did not eat any of the food, so we asked for what more they could do to accommodate us. The manager who by the way is the cook came out and asked us very rudely if we just wanted to not pay for our food. Just because we are hispanic, cmon really??? I work in the food industry, and this is truly the worse I have seen to handle this type of situation. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Will never come here again. Take your money somewhere else where it is worth it and not cold. Also, somewhere else where you won’t get food poisoning.

After years of not being to Buca we decided on a whim to make the 30 minute drive to relive years of great food and service. We called ahead and were given a call-ahead reservation with no trouble! We remember years ago waiting 45-60 minutes to get a table and were willing to do so because it was so worth the experience! Once inside we were greeted and seated quickly. The decor and atmosphere was just what we remembered! We ordered dishes to share and everything came out in stages and drinks were refilled without having to ask! Service was great, we even had a visit from the manager who was very friendly. It was clear that he cared very much about the customers and their experience! We were initially concerned about the low amount of cars in the parking lot, but don’t let that deter you, everything was excellent, just as it was years ago! Thank you so much for the walk down memory lane, we will definitely be back!

I haven't eaten at a buca di beppo since I was a little kid growing up in Vegas. By surprise I found this on visiting Atlanta and it did not disappoint. We were the only ones in the restaurant which was a surprise, but the waiter was super friendly always checking in making sure we are good. And like old times the food was amazing. Keeping high standards since I was a kid and I am very happy to see it.

My table was ready at the time I requested so, thankfully, I did not have a wait time. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce as it was 50% off thanks to the Buca di Beppo monthly member deals. The service was great as well.
