Too bad. I used to like to drop in for a weekend lunch or dinner during the week. Who is the new menu designed for? It is limited and overpriced, favorites are gone.

Been a LONG time B&B fan and ate here often. Always 10/10! A great bar and atmosphere. The Gustavo was the BEST fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Went over the weekend to try out the new menu and was veryyyyy disappointed to see that none of the staples were on the menu anymore— especially the sandwich, burger, truffle fries, bowls, and the popcorn. A huge loss. ? The new food was subpar at best, especially for the hefty price increase (Over $100 with tip for 3 people). Hopefully they will consider bringing some favorites back… otherwise I may not be back.

Bring back the old menu and concept. I loved this place, it was my favorite place and now it’s turned into an overpriced, mediocre restaurant. The previous menus food was more delicious and priced better. People came here for a nice family friendly casual dining experience for sandwiches and bowls. Now everything is pretentious, overpriced, and mediocre. I would have even paid more for the previous menu, now instead of trying to compete with the surrounding restaurants people just won’t come here in the future. People that want to pay for a 48 dollar steak will go to a steak restaurant. People that want to pay 36 dollars for salmon will go to a seafood restaurant. You’ve lost your clientele, unfortunately. You’ve shot yourself in the foot and I’m sad my favorite restaurant is gone.

We knew that the chef was trying out new recipes and a new menu so we ordered multiple appetizers and a few entrées to split. Highlights:DumplingsSalmon TartarMussels as an appetizerBurger BurgerSolePork chopsThe food was cooked to perfection, and one can tell that a lot of thought went into its preparation. The front of the house also shined.

As a longtime customer of B&B, the new food menu is heartbreaking. As our go to restaurant in Alpharetta, B&B always provided awesome appetizers, sandwiches and bowls. Now those in charge have decided to “upscale” the menu, and definitely “upscale” the pricing. We didn’t see anything on the new menu that caught our eye, so we didn’t order anything off of the food menu. The draft beer menu was still pretty solid, and ordered a couple. Why take a downtown Alpharetta mainstay and totally change it?Bring back the Ronin & the Lucador & the bowls, please. Or, I guess the Standard across the street can replicate them become our new favorite.

A month ago I would have rated this place 5/5. Today I can't even give it one star. Walked in last night for dinner expecting (and excited) to order my favorite fried chicken sandwich, enjoy some popcorn and maybe a few fries. To my surprise I was met with an entirely new menu at an entirely new and absurd price point. Alpharetta with truly miss it's casual yet delicious dining experience at Butcher & Brew. Guess I'll be eating at The Standard or Jekyll from now on...

Food was not bad, and there were a few solid beer options. But the new menu is very, very overpriced, and the portions are ridiculously stingy. As of a few weeks ago, every sandwich is now $15-$18, with no fries included. Ok, $6 extra for fries is a lot, but I'll add them because I'm hungry. The $6 cup of fries was TINY--like 8 individual fries in there. I asked if the chicken sandwich ($15 by itself) came with pickles, our server said yes, but when it comes out, there are two of the world's tiniest pickles sitting next to this sandwich. That and the fries made it feel like I was getting pranked. Service at lunch was slow, but our server seemed to be doing his best, and was accommodating. I will not be returning and I will not recommend due to the astronomical prices for ungenerous portions.

The new menu is top-notch! The Fried Bread (our Server recommended), Onion Rings and Chicken Pasta were all so unique and flavorful. The BB burger is a menu holdover (best in Alpharetta!) and they still have the rotating beer selection, TVs and fun vibe. It's the go-to spot in downtown Alpharetta.

New concept = AWESOME. Large portion delicious food for a good price for a restaurant. Licked our plates clean AND had leftovers. My daughter was able to eat a huge and non-greasy fantastic cheeseburger and I had a big flavorful salad with some of the best steak on it I’ve ever eaten and a shallot dressing I could drink. YUM. I’m DF and GF and was still able to find plenty of dishes to enjoy. Incredible wine selection too which is great for us non beer lovers. Fries are so good you need self control to not get full on those alone. We will be back! So much on the menu we want to try seriously

We went and tried out the new menu and WOW! I’m still dreaming of the horseradish salmon and the steak salad. I wish we lived a little closer and this would be my weekend spot. The ambiance is great and the cocktails and food are incredible. We will be back!!

We went to Butcher and Brew a lot, and recently went after they had changed the menu. While everything did taste good, they have drastically changed it to where we most likely won’t be back. We used to be able to get a burger for $16 with fries included, get a drink, and come out only spending about $60 for both of us. We went yesterday to discover the burger is still around $13-16, but fries are not included and are now an additional $6. That puts us at at least $20 per person before drinks. We are sad about the change and won’t be back.
