My family had a birthday dinner at Cabernet. There were 7 of us. We selected Cabernet because we've dined there numerous times and have always enjoyed the food , the service and the ambiance. We were not disappointed this time around. We had a great time and great food. One of the real pluses is that we were able to carry on a conversation speaking in a normal tone. Fernando, our server, always does an excellent job. We always request him and he always delivers. We really enjoy dining at Cabernet Steakhouse.
The steak was over seasons . Next time will ask for salt and pepper and no Oscar. Steak sandwich was excellent and muscles were superb. Salads were great.
Cabernet has great people, food and service. I have lunch meetings here a lot. Chef is great. Rueben sandwich was fantastic today.
Great food & awesome service. Never disappoints. Highly recommend it to anyone that wants a fantastic steak.
We will be back very soon. Our server Robert was amazing and the food was so good! Our son enjoyed his birthday dinner and we had a great wine!
Danny (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and Antonio did a GREAT job on the service. We were treating some very good friends to a late Christmas and New Year dinner and was hoping the service will be top notch and the food a close second. Cabernet Steakhouse did not disappoint. The service was perfect!!! and the food was a close second. Thank you again. We will be back k again soon.
January 2, 2026 was my Uncle Winston's 80th birthday who traveled from London, England to spend the holidays with me and my family. I wanted to roll out the red carpet and thought going to Cabernet Sauvignon Steakhouse in Alpharetta, GA would accomplish that goal. From the main entrees we ordered Lobster Scampi, Petit Filet and 2 orders of the Maine Diver Scallops, one of which were mine. I took one bite from a piece of 1 scallop and immediately spat it out in my napkin. I thought maybe it was just a bad one after experiencing an ammonia bleach like taste. I then attempted a second bite with a different scallop on the plate and experienced the same and spat out in my napkin again. This was our very first time at this restaurant and although I live in Johns Creek, we were the only minority family in the restaurant and did not want to draw too much attention. The waiters were very nice and a female manager (I think), came over and apologized profusely. In addition, it was later confirmed that the scallops were indeed spoiled. The manager did offer a replacement meal; however, the scallop order was intentional due to the late dining time as I did not want to eat anything heavy. I just asked for the lobster risotto that was part of the original order and that was all. Now, the reason why I'm writing this review is because of the way the matter was handled. Although , the item was removed from my receipt (as it should have since it was not consumed), an offer should have been made at the very least for us to return to experience the type of service that the restaurant presents itself to offer. If not the family, the offer should have been made to me to dine again to make up for the embarrassment of serving spoiled scallops in what is considered a high end restaurant. This offer was never made nor was a discount ever given on the receipt as a gesture of good faith. Since it was my Uncles 80th birthday, they only gave him a free crème brûlée which is the standard.
Cabernet never fails us. There are times when the Filet could be more seasoned as was the case last night. However, the Scallops, the Crab Cake, and the Oysters were outstanding. But the highlight and something worth the visit was the cream of mushroom soup!
We celebrated our anniversary there. Terrific service, awesome food and an overall great experience. Will return there.
We had fried lobster tails as app. Very delicious. Filets with sauces were great. The food and service are always awesome here. My main issue is cigar smoke penetrating into the dining room. The smell is overwhelming for me especially when eating.

My steak was cooked rare and I ordered it medium. I also took half of it and my baked potato him but the waiter did not include the potato. I ordered a glass of wine with my steak and it did not come out in time and I had to ask again while I was eating my steak.
Cabernet is our favorite restaurant. The food is consistently good with the service to match. We are never disappointed!!!
For starters, the place smells from the smoking area they have. Even though it is closed off, it still gets through.
The food was mediocre at best. Caesar salad was wilted, chicken was dry. Steaks were overpriced and unspectacular. Overpriced for the quality.
Service was good, but nothing to brag about. First and last time there.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary here. We had our 25th and 30th here. Always amazing food and service. Sara and Antonio took great care of us. Amazing bone in filet. Stone crabs are in. Nancy and I appreciate this special occasion.
Mediocre fare, 8 oz. filet mignon ala carte served with 2 slices of wilted radicchio, a sad garnish, it really cheapened the $48 sreak. Ordered the special, Blackened Halibut but it wasn't blackened at all, just roasted and over done and dried out. The best thing was the side of broccolini, that was delicious.
