40 minute wait for a kids pepperoni pizza i was told 20. Ridiculous. I asked how long until my order was read once I arrived , i was told it was coming out at that moment but proceeded to wait 10 minutes. The staff is visibly lackadaisical and the food wasn’t even hot

California Pizza Kitchen was a pizza restaurant that I learned about for the first time upon the recommendation of my wife in Los Angeles. It was so beautiful that its taste lingered in my palate. I always eat it whenever I come to America. My favorite pizza is wild mushroom and barbecue chicken. Sometimes we do both half and half. That's what happened this time too. I really liked this location and service. No service standards. Food is below average. Staff do not have patience to listen or serve. Had bad experience. Lady serving us took order for brownie forgot about it and then later after discussion served order which was over priced. She mentioned $3 for dessert. I confirmed 2 times but it was actually 8$. When I confronted her she made faces and ignored me. Later manager Tay called and mentioned that he has already made refund. I was glad and thankful that they care about service and manger called but no refund received. It is not about refund but it is about ignorance, Lies and do not care attitude . Anyways enough of time and energy spent. I don’t recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Not worth !

Went last night and service was bad but blame most on the manager. She just stood there not helping out on the line to supporting her server that was in the weeds. 20 minutes to get water and our salads sat on the line for 30 minutes and took us 2 hrs to get through the entire service. Salads came after our pizza, no refills on drinks, had to ask for plates once we got our pizzas and waited a long time as our pizza got cold. Only 4-6 tables and the rest of the staff just sat there and watched our server drown. Restroom ? was filthy and food on the floors. Hardly anyone at the place so no excuse they were busy.

Very slow service for a Saturday. Waited at least 30+ minutes for our pizza. When it came, it was cold. We let our server know and he brought us a new pizza within 3 minutes that was hot. Funny how the service improves when you complain…!!!
We used to love this place, but haven't had one close in years. Food and service has really taken a nose dive. Spend your money elsewhere.

We were sat pretty quickly, but our server didn't get to our table until we had been sitting for almost 15 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The food came out really quickly, which was great because we were hungry. The food was good but the price is not worth it. We got 2 dishes and spent $60. The portions were kinda small for what we paid. It was nice to try, but I don't think I'll be going back.

Super disappointed. I didn’t get what I paid for and the supervisor refused to make it right or credit me for their mistake. Man, sometimes people suck. We just wanted what we paid for or to be reimbursed for the error. Also, I ordered online and it wouldn’t let me checkout without tipping. I like to tip AFTER I get service.You win CPK, but I’ll never come back.

My server was excellent! I do feel the pizza is a bit overpriced. It just didn't have anything that made me say "wow"- this is great pizza. The other time I visited California Pizza, my waitress was horrible and she showed her true colors after seeing I left her a 1 cent tip.
