April 20th visit. At 7:37 pm the entire restaurant was empty. We asked if they were open. The hostess acted liked it was a complete bother for us to come in. We asked questions about the menu & she was horribly rude. She just kept responding a la carte to our questions. We understood a la carte. Our questions were about what side dishes they offered & how they were prepared. We completely understood why there wasn't a soul in the entire restaurant. Management should review the cameras & her interaction with customers. Great location for a restaurant

Sophie and Rowan were excellent! The grilled oysters (I had 3 orders) and shrimp were both amazing. I enjoyed the food and the service!

Dinner & Drinks at Carson Kitchen in downtown Alpharetta My favorite dish was the- BLACK RICE & OXTAIL RISOTTO with parmesan cream. Silky, full of flavor too bad I had to share. We also had these delish dishes- SHORT RIB flatbread smoked gouda, pickled red onion TEMPURA GREEN BEANS pepper jelly cream cheese WILD BOAR TACOS tomatillo slaw, cranberry chutney CHICKEN THIGHS alabama white barbeque & for dessert GLAZED DONUT BREAD PUDDING three rum caramel, vanilla crème anglaise Oh My Gawd out of this world!!!! To wash it all down the ladies chose vodka/cranberry & the men had beer. Great, friendly service and super relaxing, fun place.

We liked the killer shrimp. K said no jalapeño slices next time, but it only has a slight kick to it and it's meant to (hence the name)! I ordered the black rice & oxtail risotto, which I was nervous about and looking at it, I wasn't sure I would like it. But it was really good. K said it was good to him too. We both liked the cauliflower. It had pieces of almonds in it (my favorite) and garbanzo beans, I think, and didn't care for those. K ordered the burnt ends (sausage) and I cut some up and ate with the pickles on the side, which were crunchy like Claussen and found out I loved this combination! K ordered the short ribs and it was presented beautifully with pesto sauce. Then, we were really disappointed because it tasted soooooo salty! The waitress was very nice and she removed it from the bill. We tried the brownies with like a bacon & bourbon ice cream. The brownies were chewy and the combination was interestingly good. Everything was family portions and probably could have been shared among 4-5 people (maybe less for the big eaters) but overall, it was a nice experience.

We had our annual company holiday party here tonight and this place rocked it out!! The food was amazing and the service was even better!! The hors d'oeuvres and finger foods they had for us were awe! The pork belly with Buffalo sauce drizzled on top was they best one for me, but the chicken sandwiches were pretty good and the flatbread was great too! We had Rowen moving around serving Hors d'oeuvres and she was awesome. Everybody there was friendly, Rowen, was friendly and fun and really made us all feel like they truly enjoyed having us there. They've got an outside patio area with a fire pit, it really capped the night off with us all hanging around the fire pit and just enjoying the beautiful night in Alpharetta. Hope to see them again next year.

Excellent Food & Service

One of the best places I've eaten in a long time. The killer shrimp. Deviled eggs, Pork meatloaf. and Oxtail risotto were all prepared perfectly. Plus the server was extraordinary! We will be back.

Had pretty low expectations, but this place was a pleasant surprise! Our waitress was fantastic! Energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu as well as various dietary restrictions. It's very refreshing to speak with someone who actually knows what they're talking about - do you know how frustrating it is to inquire about vegan options on a menu, and for someone to point out things that are "gluten free" ? However, I digress- the food here was reallllly good. I ordered the killer shrimp and the beet tartare, the shrimp were tasty but there wasn't anything "killer" or spicy about the flavor. The beet tartare was also really good and recommended to those who love beets! I dined with a large party and everyone else else seemed to enjoy their food, as well. My vegan partner ordered the Korean Fried Tofu and Cauliflower dishes (not pictured) and thoroughly enjoyed every bite!

OUR SERVER ROWEN ROCKED!!!!!!! Had reservations that friends made for4 at 11:30.When the doors opened we were greeted by a lovely young lady named Rowen. She ended up seating us and got us some water she was so laid back & down to earth and all of the Libations and food that she recommended were absolutely delicious. The That’s My Jam Bloody Mary to drink and to eat I had the Devils Eggs with crispy pancetta, caviar, Donut French Toast with three rum caramel & crème anglaise, the Crayfish Tacos, Mac & Cheese Chicken and Waffles, and the Bread Pudding! It was such a wonderful day meeting new friends and people watching the passerby all dress up as different Alice in wonderland characters that were walking all over Alpharetta, I even had my picture taken with the queen of hearts while she was waiting for friends at the bar. All in all this restaurant was five stars five thumbs up delicious and an amazing and our waitress Rowen best one yet! So call Carson’s Kitchen for reservations and ask for Rowen you will be glad you did!

Second time dining her for brunch and again stellar service and delicious food! The first time I came with my family. Typically, taking out smaller children is difficult, but this place had a very good vibe and made it easy to dine in with kids. The second time I came with all adults. To start, our server Rowen was extremely warm and provided excellent service. She had great knowledge of the drink menu and was able to provide fantastic recommendations. Even better, she didn’t let us go empty! The food was again stellar. The first time I had the chicken and mac and cheese waffle which was excellent. This time I went with crawfish tacos, donut french toast, and some of my husband’s shrimp and grits. Everything is so good the only way to enjoy it all is to order the dishes tapas style so you can try everything!Overall, this place is one of my favorites. I will certainly be back.

We were on our way to a concert and stopped to get a quick bite to eat. Pleasantly surprised! Downtown Alpharetta is a beautiful little area I've never been. We were able to sit at the bar where they actually cooked the food in front of us! The crawfish tacos were to die for! The slaw had ham and pepporcinis it was just amazing. I could've done without the pork belly it was almost too fatty for me. The blt pizza was cooked perfectly and had a wasabi aioli that gave the perfect flavor.

OMG!!!!! If I can give Carson’s Kitchen 1000 stars I would!!! The food is beyond amazing! Everything is shareable and when I tell you the Chef is invited to the cookout, he can definitely come! The photos don’t do it justice you must come try it for yourself!!! The ambiance and service is superb!!! Definitely coming back!

Fantastic food and service. Went in the other night for the first time, heard mixed things but decided to try it out. Met Rachel the Director of Ops she is such a sweetheart. She told us the chef came out from their Vegas location a few months back and they revamped the quality on the menu. Burger is phenomenal and the chicken sandwich has the perfect fried chicken crunch while still being juicy inside. The pork belly was delicious as well, but the carrots are a waste on the plate. Looking forward to going back for that soft shell crab sandwich next. Definitely check it out and order the chicken and burger. You won't be disappointed.

Carson Kitchen has been "hit or miss" for my family. Likes: Italian sausage pizza (great but off menu now) Gyro tacos (great but off menu now) Donut bread pudding (fantastic, could eat this every day it's that good) Not Worth The Price: Pepperoni pizza (not very appetizing, deli style pepperonchinis are placed on as the only other ingredient aside from cheese) Chicken thighs with White Alabama BBQ Sauce (sauce was great but tasted more like a cajun sauce while the 3 pieces of chicken were tough and chewy. This would work better if they treated it less like a BBQ grilled meal and simmered the chicken tender. It could be a winner.) Berry Posset (tasty, but you're eating all cream)
