If you're looking for a true taste of Italy paired with outstanding southern hospitality, look no further than this gem of a restaurant! Tonight, we rang in the New Year with their 5-course special, and once again, it exceeded all expectations.
From the very first course, every dish exuded authentic Italian flavors that are clearly crafted with both tradition and creativity. They graciously accommodated my request to substitute the entrée with my favorite fish (Grouper), perfectly cooked in a delicate white wine sauce. It was absolutely delicious!
Maria and her staff always elevate the dining experience with genuinely friendly and attentive service, making you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and always just right for any occasion.
This has become our go-to spot whenever we have family and friends visiting. We can always count on an amazing meal, impeccable service, and an authentic Italian dining experience. Highly recommended!

Total disappointment…. Made reservations for New Year’s Eve dinner for 9:15 PM. They required a $20 reservation fee to make reservations. We arrive on time and there’s a huge wait. It’s 10:05 PM and we’re told it will be another 20 minutes which will make it over an hour past our reservations.
The restaurant either needs to limit reservations or have a time limit on the table. Other patrons are leaving because they’ve waited an hour also.
While the food in the past has been good, the service tonight is totally unacceptable. I doubt I will come back because they’ve totally they underestimated the load for a New Years.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the country and it's located in Alpharetta of all places. Everything I had there tasted amazing and the service was very warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our first time here and tonight might have been the best Italian dinner I’ve had since I moved to Atlanta from New York. The food excellent (order the pescatore, the chicken Limone, the linguini pesto, the chicken piccata..), all 10 of us— not one bad meal— everyone raving. The atmosphere electric- every table full— everyone having a great time. The service excellent. Loved every minute. We will be back.

Service is excellent and the ambiance was lovely, unfortunately the food is not very flavorful and there’s no wow factor for the price. I don’t recommend if you like rich Italian cooking. Just being honest.

Annual Christmas dinner last night w/ my two Business partners
Casa Nuova Restaurant in Alpharetta
If you are looking for a traditional Italian place, this is IT!
The place was decorated to the hilt and it was Packed
Most of the staff has been there over 20 years and it shows-spot on and friendly
I arrived first and sat in the bar area where I overheard the bartender (I think his name is Andreas) reciting the MANY specials to the folks next to me. He was incredible and his explanations were not robotic as some can be.
Victoria was our server and she was also very good. Also worked here for over 20 years.
Entrees (all varied) photos below and were enjoyed by the 3 of us
The only downside was that our 7PM reservation ended up at 7:30
Would I go back: YES although it’s about a 45 minute drive from Norcross

If you're looking for a casual night out with your number one, or a festive night out with friends and family, then look no further than Casa Nuova, for an exceptional and unforgettable experience. This award winning restaurant is owned and operated by Maria Fundora and her family, along with a warm and welcoming group of employees that treat you like family. The menu is packed with a wide selection of Italian specialities. Along with their fresh pasta, you'll find something to please all palates including beef, chicken, veal and seafood dishes, all served with fresh, garden grown, farm to table vegetables. Of course, just as soon as you think you've found your perfect dish, your skilled server explains the nightly specials, all in delicious detail. Cocktails from the bar are expertly prepared, as Maria's son and in house Sommelier, Pepe, assists in selecting the perfect wine to pair with you meal. Save room... the desserts are fabulous.
Spend an evening at Casa Nuova, and you'll be sure to return. Just remember to book early on Resy.

We had a reservation, yet we had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. They took another 30 minutes to take the order, and it took 40 minutes for the food to arrive at the table. The food was just okay. I wasn't expecting just okay food from a place with good reviews and expensive items.

I recently made a reservation at Casa Nuova Italian Restaurant in Alpharetta for our 1-year wedding anniversary. We had a 3-hour drive planned immediately after dinner, and I wanted this evening to be special—especially since my husband had just graduated college. I’ve dined here several times before and always had great food and great service, so I trusted Casa Nuova for such an important night.
Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like my past experiences.
Despite arriving 30 minutes early (after reading online that guests sometimes aren’t seated on time), we still waited an entire hour to be seated. I had noted clearly on the reservation that it was an anniversary celebration. My husband was exhausted from work, and the long wait completely threw off our travel schedule.
When we were finally seated, the service was extremely disappointing. Our waitress had a visibly poor attitude and seemed uninterested in helping us at all. I repeatedly had to ask the host where our drinks were, where the bread was, where our food was—and at one point, even where our waitress was. It felt like we were being ignored on a night that meant so much to us.
The food itself was good, as it usually is, but by the time it arrived, the entire experience had already been overshadowed by frustration and stress. I had hoped to show my husband one of my favorite Italian spots, but now his first impression of Casa Nuova is a terrible one—and unfortunately, mine has changed too. I no longer trust the reservation system, and I wouldn’t recommend relying on it for a special occasion.
To make things worse, the only gesture offered was a pastry “on the house,” which my husband couldn’t even enjoy because it was covered in almonds—and he has a severe nut allergy. It felt like an afterthought rather than genuine service recovery.
Overall, what was supposed to be a beautiful anniversary dinner turned into a stressful and disappointing night. I left feeling upset, and honestly, heartbroken that such an important occasion was handled so poorly.

Great Italian food. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The service was excellent and made us feel like family. Chocolate mousse dessert was out of this world. It was our first time and we will definitely be back.

Consistently great food and attentive service. Don't limit yourself to the menu, their specials are excellent. They can provide a wine pairing based on what you're meal is. Save room for dessert, it is difficult to pick a favorite. Recently had the eggplant parmesan with a chicken parmesan on top as it was a unique special that day. Delicious.
