Waited behind only one person in line and it took them over 10 minutes to just take my order, with an attitude the whole time. Helped someone else for an order pickup who came in after me before they would help me. Definitely under filled the ice cream

Please, for the love of all that is holy, teach children basic math and common sense before putting them in charge of the drive-thru. The total was $14.42. I handed the young girl a $20. I then quickly said, "and I might have the 42 cents." She said, "I've already put it in" [she had entered the currency into the register and the drawer had opened and told her how much change].
If I hand you $20.42 and the total I owe is $14.42, we are dealing with grade school level basic subtraction.
I replied, "yes, but you can do the math." She looked at me blankly, so I told her the math: "It's $14.42 and I gave you $20.42, so you owe me a flat 6 dollars."
She rolled her eyes. Then, proceeded to hand me back $6.58.
"No," I said. "I gave you $20.42. You just owe me $6." And I took only the bills. She was still confused when I left.
And... sure, maybe she's having a terrible day, week, month. And I'm sorry for that. I've had MANY of those. Not fun. But not once in any of my hard times in life did I forget how to do basic math after the age of, let's say 10. Put her on the fry station or give her a math lesson.

Ton of pressure to tip at drive through. They literally take your card before you get your food and hold it hostage with “ok how much did you wanna tip?”. Won’t be coming back.

It's DQ, so you know what you're getting. Blizzards are always good, drivethrough service time is fast.

They either no longer have, or are always out of, chocolate ice cream which I find odd.

Forced to pay tips. In the past, I have tipped them, but this guy stuck the CC machine out and asked to add tips. There’s a way to do it with courtesy, but this Indian guy had no etiquette.

Addicted to their blizzards and ice cream cupcakes! Seriously, though, who doesn't like Dairy Queen?!? But if you want to go to one where the service is excellent and fast, this is your go to location!

Don’t go here!! Spend your money elsewhere. Blizzard was half melted and employee at the window said “that’s just how they are coming out.” Not willing to remake or try to remedy, just blankly stared. 50 year boss/manager was standing behind staring as well. Clearly they know their product is wrong and try to take advantage of customers being too nice to raise TOO much hell. Just go to Brusters or another location.

Came into get a milkshake with malt and loved it. So few places make a good malted anymore, but this one did it right!
