We hadn't been to DiPaolo's in years, and decided to try it again. The whole experience was fabulous. Outstanding food and service (our server Kelly was wonderful). We ordered Caesar Salad, Bone-in veal chop with cabbage “carbonara” style, sea bass (Market fish of the day) with asparagus, gelato & biscotti and coffee for desert. Good wine selections, too. Nice ambience. We'll be back!!!

I've been to your restaurant several times. This is the first time I ordered the shrimp scampi appetizer. It was terrible and nothing like any shrimp scampi I have ever had before from New York to Florida. I ordered the half portion of the lasagne and it also was a poor excuse for what is a fairly standard Italian dish. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food.

Corner booth #20 excellent booth for 4 people. My wife and I split an entre lots of food Parmesan chicken very good but needed more red sauce which they brought when we asked. Prices are moderate and service was great. Other couple had lazansa and another pasta dishes which they said were very good.

A bit of a mixed experience. The pasta and sausage entree was very good. The stuffed chicken was just ok, not nearly as flavorful as expected. Service was solid but nothing exceptional. The bruschetta app was excellent. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food

A Mixed Experience at di Paolo with a Large Group I recently hosted a Celebrate Atlanta Meetup dinner at di Paolo with 20 attendees. I want to start by saying the food was hot and delicious across all three tables with a few minor challenges, and the management was very accommodating prior to the event. I had spoken with Alex, the manager, earlier in the day, and he worked with me to place our three separate reservations near one another — a thoughtful gesture that helped our group feel more connected. Unfortunately, the experience at my table of 8 was marred by poor service from our waitress, Dee Dee. While the other two tables — each with different wait staff — were served promptly and courteously, our table waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for food after being seated. Dee Dee was dismissive when asked about delays, inattentive to our needs, and frequently reached across guests in a way that disrupted the dining experience. She also prioritized other patrons over our group, despite our early seating. There were a few complaints about portion sizes relative to price, and one member had a food issue that wasn't addressed until the end of the meal. Alex did attempt to make things right by offering desserts to our table, which was appreciated, though tensions had already escalated by that point. As an organizer for Celebrate Atlanta — a Meetup group with over 18,000 members and frequent restaurant events — I've rarely encountered such a challenging experience. That said, I believe this was an isolated issue tied to one staff member, and I commend Alex for his professionalism and efforts to accommodate us both before and during the evening. I hope di Paolo continues to train and support their staff to ensure consistent service across all tables. The food and ambiance deserve it.

Other than being seated at our reserved table on time, this was a terrible dining experience. We had a table of 8, Orders were taken for both appetizers and entrees. Salads were served. My salad with hearts of palm had on tiny piece of palm + a live bug crawled across the plate. Other table waited an hour and a half for main entrees. We watched other tables order after us and pay their checks before we got food. Server made excuses. Manager made excuses that they were busy and chicken takes a long time to cook. One person had chicken. It doesn't take over an hour to cook a thin chicken breast. We asked for comped desserts and the manager finally agreed. At least the bar made a good drink plus nice wine list.

Once again our experience was great! Salads came fresh and delicious and we really enjoy being able to get half portions... Thanks again for some amazing carbonara!

This place is my absolute FAVORITE! Service is breathing as the entire staff treats you like family- the food compliments the beautiful atmosphere. The seasonal menu keeps me on my toes but the true gem is the margherita pizza! You’ll never have a crust so good. This is a must try if you’re looking for comforting Italian in your area.

Special biscotti for birthday celebrations! Love the ambiance and menu. Bruschetta of the Day always good. Our party all enjoyed the caprese salads, caesar salad, lasagna, pork tenderloin, mussels and more.
