Real nice place. Great food. But they are closed. I will miss it very much!!!! Very good ambience and food and I hope to see this place open up at another location.

Ordered a Caesar salad with chicken 2 days ago with no problem. I make the same exact order today and they cancel it and say it's impossible... guess I'll go back to Panera.

What happened to this place? The menu never changes, you close early… what a disappointment this place has become. I honestly do not know how they're still in business. Why can’t yal be more like Souper Jennys ?

Been coming here for years staff is GREAT very homie feel incredible menu. It's the best place in the Avalon in my opinion.

I wanted something quick and healthy but it was gross and not fresh at all. The Caesar salad was so so soggy I couldn't eat it and the panini was ok. Nothing great, not toasted all the way through. Disappointing.

Food is delicious, service needs improvement. I got the trio which was $13.99 little pricey, but it tastes fresh. Salad wasn’t the best it looks like the dressing was added too early.

Food was tasty ?. Customer service needs a lot of improvement not to Avalon standard.

Had lunch - soup & salad. Selection was decent. Ordered white bean chicken chili. Found one bean. Asked the server about it, and he said 'It's been kind of brothy. May be better tomorrow.' Seemed unconcerned. I was disappointed in attitude.

Good sandwich and soup. A little pricey. Otherwise a nice lunch.

My son and I went for lunch. We haven't visited since before Covid. The sandwich selection was much smaller than Pre-Covid. I had the Tomato Basil Bisque and the Fancy Grilled Cheese. They put my soup in the bowl before they toasted my sandwich so my soup was on the cool side once I received my lunch. I'm sure I could have asked to have a new bowl, but I did not. Regardless, the soup was delicious! The grilled cheese was a combination of Mozzarella, Muenster and American cheeses on ciabatta. It had plenty of cheese and was toasted thoroughly so all the cheese was perfectly melted. My son had a bowl of the Turkey Chili and he loved it! He is a big fan of chili and said it was one of the best he's had. I stole a couple of spoonfuls and agree. They offer complimentary Oyster Crackers which is a nice touch.

Easy atmosphere. Good for kids. Their tomato bisque is super decadent.

My two kids and I ordered the soup and half sandwich, which is generally a special, and our bill was almost 60 bucks. No meat in the meal at all. Grilled cheese and soup. There really wasn't a lot of food from which to choose, which brought us to the soup and sandwich in the first place. I'm shocked this place stays in business, and my guess is that it won't much longer. We could've gone to any other restaurant at Avalon, gotten better more gourmet food with sit down service, and we still wouldn't have spent 60 bucks. Lesson learned. EVERY other restaurant at Avalon is superior and cheaper. Skip this sad little sideshow of a weak selection and ludicrous prices for boring staples you can easily order anywhere at half the price, twice the service and three times the taste.
