Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

The lunch was with a new business/friend lunch and was amazing. First, our server Tiffany was very professional and helpful, we had everything we needed. The food was incredible and we finished a successful lunch with the delicious chocolate cake!

All 4 of thought out meals were great as was service. Dining area and rest rooms very clean, too.

Great Staff! Had to alter our Reservation twice and they were friendly and willing to help! Food portions were large and food was Delicious! Service was top notch!

Firebird's is our go-to casual restaurant! The food and service are fantastic!! My favorite is the shrimp and strawberry salad!

Sooo. I decided to take myself out for my birthday. I pass this restaurant coming from work every night. Looked them up and they had great reviews. For me it was okay. Pros: they have a 3 course meal for 39.99. The rest: You get a choice of soup or salad for the starter. I opted for the soup. Chicken tortilla. Good, not wowed and it came out lukewarm. Main dish. I got the salmon with shrimp and scalloped potatoes. Again. Good not wowed and luke warm. Finally the dessert. I got the brownie. The brownie was hard. Even after letting the ice cream melt. Again good but not wowed. My server, she was good. I believe she had a few tables so I tipped her well over the 20%. Bill came to around $55 with the made in house chardonnay. It didn't taste any different than any other chardonnay. I left a $20 tip. I am going to come back and try their bunch. If that is medicore as well, that will be my last visit. Lastly, there was a very long wait after my starter (soup). It had to be at least 20 minutes from when I finished my soup until I received my entrée. And at least another 15 minutes (but I think 20) between the entrée and the dessert. I had honestly forgot about the dessert at that point. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or something else was going on.

Firebirds is always consistent and gives the higher end feel without the sticker shock. Deviled eggs very good. Love the candied bacon in these... Couldn't empty a glass before we had a refill... EVER. Excellent attentive service. Entrees all good. My tomahawk pork chop a bit charred, but didn't affect flavor or tenderness. Charred carrots wonderful, as were port mushrooms. In and out in a reasonable time allowing us to make our movie in time. Always satisfied with this place.

We were there at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon meeting friends. A first time for all of us and a very positive experience. Nice to be across the street from Avalon and a step away from crowded parking etc. Service & atmosphere really good. Menu has many options. We all said we would come back!

Ordered the grilled salmon, unfortunately it came with bones....
Half of it I didn't eat at all.

We have been to Firebirds numerous times. Our friends even more than us. We chose your restaurant before a concert. Took 25 minutes to get our first round of drinks. While we watch the two bartenders set on their phones and chat. Constantly had to ask for water to be refilled. Server was a one star at the best. Food was actually good but did take longer than normal for a 5 PM reservation and 70% empty restaurant.

Overall it was a great experience. My mom enjoyed her birthday dinner with our family and close friends, so that's really all that matters. The food was great as always. It's always hot and fresh.
