Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou

I’m SO glad I found Flatlands. I’ve been in town for a couple days and disappointed with the food experiences thus far. Flatlands negated all of that and put Alpharetta back on the map for me. Everything I had was delectable. I had the catfish nuggets, a garden salad (w/ the the jalapeño ranch), a cocktail and beignets. 10/10. Highly recommend!

Oh and Anna & Annie were great servers!

My family is from New Orleans, so the food reminds me of home ? .
Gumbo is pretty good also. Haven't had a bad meal there yet!
Been there multiple times, 1 of my favorite places to eat when in town.

Skip Nola and head straight to Alpharetta, Flatlands is that good - crab dip, redfish, gumbo, and charbroiled oysters were all fantastic.

This place is MAGICAL! I've never been to Louisiana, but Louisiana sure came here in that restaurant! Every morsel of food I ate was incredibly delicious! Worth the drive!

What I like the most about this restaurant is the atmosphere. It is not too fancy but rather cozy, unique, and interesting. The restaurant cabin is inviting and the server is friendly. Food was alright — I wish the jambalaya was little less salty, but it tasted good with shrimp. Crawfish Etoufee was also good, I appreciate that they put so much crawfish in the etouffee! (Between the jambalaya and the etouffee, I personally liked the etouffee better.) Great place for a date or a hangout with 1-3 friends.

We showed up for our reservation on time and were showed to our table. It was a little loud, but that wasn't a huge deal. Then we sat there for 10min without anyone getting us at all. We spoke with the host and hostess and they got us water and told us the waitress would be right with us. Another 10min we see our waitress walking back and forth without ever acknowledging us or at least apologizing and saying she'll be with us soon. That's 20min of time we'll never get back. We left and went to another establishment nearby, much better experience.

Just a fantastic place to eat at. I recommend Flatlands to anyone that visits the Atlanta area. Catfish Pontchartrain is my favorite, but there’s so much to choose from and they’re all delicious.

Had a reservation. We were seated and waited for over 20 minutes. No one ever greeted us or even looked in our direction so we got up and left.

Excellent all around. The bourbon Pecan pie was outstanding. If you enjoy the presence of bourbon perfectly balanced with sweet, this is as to near perfection as I have ever tasted.
