We love having FSE in the neighborhood. Great staff, exceptional chef, and we love the food and libations. A special thanks to Russell for making sure we received our Thanksgiving dinner via curbside pickup. It was delicious and definitely the highlight of our Thanksgiving. Cheers!

We discovered FSE 2 months ago and we have not eaten anywhere else since. We are there once a week and it's always very exciting to try the chef's creations. You can tell he uses sole prime ingredients and he combines and blends flavors while enhancing each of of them. The bartenders and the wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly. What else can I say? If you are looking for a culinary experience FSE is the place you want to go.

A truly unique and flavorful experience. Amazing care by service staff, friendly and helpful. The food is adventurous, delicious and plated so well. I recommend the octopus appetizer, the caesar salad and the baked chicken. Amazing place!

Lovely evening in the patio. I had the scallops that were cooked perfectly with fabulous accompaniment. Appreciated the safety measures they have in place so much. Will most certainly return to try new dishes!

We are extremely difficult to satisfy but tonight we had a great experience at FSE! The quality of every single ingredient in our courses was impeccable. The chef is able to combine flavors and obtain delicious contrasts that are never overwhelming. Cannot wait to go back and dive more into the menu. Finally a place that we truly enjoy!

We had take out twice now and order quite an array of dishes from their current menu. Everything is very good. It reminded us of farm to table restaurant called Lic market in nyc where we are from. Ingredients are fresh and they treat their food with love. Octopus, Sugo, pork ribs, scallops, cannele, pot de creme, country loaf... were some of our favorites. Never dined in, but can't wait til we can!

Absolutely love to dine here. The food is delicious, I have loved every single thing I have ordered. I enjoy bringing my friends and family to experience this place. My brother is a picky eater and he loved everything we ordered. I recommend ordering an assortment of dishes and apps so you can try a wide variety of what they have to offer. I'm in love with their earl gray tea sorbet, I could eat a whole pint of that to myself! It's so tasty The mushroom ravioli is so rich and the cheese gives the perfect umami! The presentations of the dishes are great! Spacious restaurant with friendly staff!

Foundation is one of the best OTP restaurants. Frankly it's one of the best in the metro. Starting with drinks: like any solid restaurant in the upscale-casual, New American space, it has a solid selection of cocktails. The beer list is an eclectic mix of local and national brews with a broad range of styles. And the wine list provides enough by-the-glass to provide variety after multiple visits. Stopping by for just a nightcap and dessert is never a bad move. The food is stellar. There's a solid charcuterie and cheese selection. Their best work is probably the pastas: the chefs have studied in Italy and it shows. But you can't go wrong with their pork belly or trout. They offer a small selection of desserts that change with the seasons. Even if you rarely order dessert consider splurging.

Came here for lunch and had an amazing experience. The bartender took great care of us and was very knowledgeable about the menu (can't remember her name, she had short dark hair) the short rib sandwich and burger were both great. The charcuterie was amazing and had great accompaniments. The star of the meal was the buttermilk lemon-thyme panna cotta!!! Hands down the best desert I've ever had, it was so balanced in flavor and texture and the blueberry earl grey sorbet was incredible.

LOVED / LOVED / LOVED / LOVED / LOVED / SEASONAL MUSHROOM RAVIOLI--- one of the best dishes I've ever had. DELICIOUS !! It was a tad bit salty but all the flavor was there! The mushroom filling was so good and I liked that they used a thin wonton wrapper. The port wine truffle sauce was pleasantly different from what I expected. The waitress suggested the country loaf bread to eat up the sauce.. which is fairly thin.. that was a winner!!! Old Fashion Disliked - Disliked - Disliked - Disliked - Disliked Crispy Octopus - not tons of flavor in the actual octopus or the breading. I did taste cumin heavily and that's not particularly my favorite. The chicken chorizo and potato with lemon and cilantro was great though!! I could've eaten that in a bowl on its own.

FSE is def a low profile hidden-gem OTP Atlanta. I've come here 3 times, tried each of its specialty: week day lunch menu, dinner menu and Sunday brunch. All of the dishes I had are splendid: they are good portion, looking gorgeous, tasting even better. Tip: you have to order the desserts, I think it's part of the reason they kept all the regulars coming back. Also, love my Irish Coffee during brunch. Tip No.2: its next door Circle Noodle is quite decent too. Especially when its cold and chilly weather, a nice bowl of hot borth Udon noodle is always my comfort food.

I was alone in Alpharetta for a work event and wanted to grab a nice dinner before my flight the next morning. I came across FSE on Yelp and made a reservation over the phone for a party of one. Their online reservation system didn't let me make a one person res for the chef's table, so if you're dining alone and want a seat by their open kitchen, I would call! My server, Brian (?) was so great! He helped me decide on my 3 appetizers (vs the 1 app and 1 entree I was originally going to get). Mushroom Ravioli with their Country Bread for dipping - it was a little too salty, but the county bread really helped. I scarfed it down anyway. Prob would not get the bread again. Crisp Octopus - Not the biggest fan of this one. It was a little too spiced for me. I think it would have tasted better if I had paired it with a lighter appetizer. The potatoes were great though. Veal Marsala - I'm going to dream about this veal. It was so tender... like melt in your mouth tender. The oyster mushroom and veal together went so nicely with the gnocchi. It was basically perfect. I just wished I had more room in my stomach to finish it. As much as I loved being able to taste 3 appetizers, it was definitely too much food for me. I ended up taking home 1/3 of my meal back to the hotel. I also think I should've gone for a citrus-y salad instead of the octopus. Greens would've really rounded out this meal. Service was good! My server checked up on me a lot and I think it was because i was dining alone, lol. Some of the other staff looked a little confused as to why I was sitting at the 4-person chef's table by myself. They even brought me a pre-dinner gift. It's all good though. I get it. Overall, a great experience and would recommend!!
