Temple is good no doubt about it, I came here to write about the cop/security at the entrance/parking, as usual on the special days we have to park at the school opposite to the temple and have to cross the street, yesterday also I was doing the same but instead of cross walk, since no vehicles are coming and when it’s safe to do I crossed the road, we can do when it’s safe to do. Cop stopped me unnecessarily and saying pay attention, pay attention otherwise I would have give you a ticket, I never experienced this kind of situation in these 17 years, felt like is it taking advantage of the situation currently going on immigrants.

I visited the temple to celebrate Ratha Yatra with devotion, but my experience was deeply upsetting due to the aggressive and unacceptable behavior of Mr. Rakesh Garg, who is reportedly a board member.

While in line for food, I witnessed him shouting at and mistreating devotees—including women, men, and even children. His tone was aggressive, his words were rude, and his overall behavior was completely inappropriate for a temple setting. I personally experienced his aggression and felt humiliated, and I also saw others treated just as poorly. This was not a one-off moment—it was consistent, and it left many of us feeling disrespected and shocked.

I recorded the incident because it was so disturbing and I felt it needed to be documented.

A temple is meant to be a space of peace, respect, and humility. It is extremely concerning to see someone in a leadership role using their position to speak to devotees in such an aggressive and demeaning manner. I sincerely hope the temple management takes this seriously and ensures accountability moving forward.

No devotee—adult or child—should be made to feel unsafe or disrespected in a place of worship.
