Sushi is definitely fresh. The roll combinations are interesting and unique. They have a lot of different flavors combined together which may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but is fun to try. Being in a small restaurant makes it even more intimate. Service is friendly and welcoming.

Just tried HW Sushi and it was really good. I didn’t eat all the rolls we tried but the fish was super fresh and tasty. I had the dynamite roll seriously 9.5/10. Good level of heat and textures. We also tried the veggie tempura and edamame. The tempura was served hot and the batter/grease because it’s fried was not over bearing like it can be at some places. The sauce served alongside was delicious and balanced not too salty or sweet. My kids loved their rolls which were California and Salmon Killer. I look forward to returning and trying more of their menu.Kid-friendliness: Small restaurant with mostly large booths.

I love this place! Always a good time when I'm here. At sushi restaurants I usually order a sushi combination set where chef decides what to feed me. Most places give you the boring stuff like ebi, escolar, cheap tuna, etc... But Hole in Wall treats you like royalty. Every nigiri, sashimi, and even their maki all comes with premium, high quality, imported Japanese fishes that you don't rarely find. I was in heaven for twenty mins eating one piece at a time. Of course I saved the best for last, o-toro. Super fatty tuna is always a must try! Amazing dinner!

Excellent environment for lunch and to one on one conversation with the person or persons you are with. It's also a group place the a group as well. Fresh fish, chicken etc. Their prices are very reasinable and the service is ranked top notch.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, and it just seems to get better and better each time. This place is such a GEM! The name of the restaurant is absolutely perfect for this place too and that’s what I love about it. It’s just like walking around in Tokyo and looking at a storefront and wondering what’s behind their doors. All it takes is walking in and sitting down and experiencing how incredible the food is and how friendly and prompt their service is. Their menu is HUGE and they offer so many delicious things other sushi restaurants don’t. It’s probably the most relaxing atmosphere of any sushi restaurant in the Atlanta area. Do yourself a favor and visit! I cannot recommend it enough.
