This is a great watering hole with a large dining room and decent sized bar. Several locals frequent here, so big games will attract a lot of folks and the bar area can get crowded.
The staff and the regulars are awesome, so it's always a good spot to strike up a conversation.
Vegetarian options: Just tell them what you want and unless the place is totally slammed, you'll get what you wanted.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but the bar area vocabulary can get edgy on busy nights the later it gets.

Walked in sat at the front for 20 minutes and no one greeted. Nor made any attempt to say welcome to hooligans what so ever. Food 1 star didn’t get a chance to try it. Service below 1 star, And atmosphere wouldn’t know because I sat waiting forever. Seem like I was intentionally ignored as waiters and waitress walked by several times. Mine you there was no crowd.

The short dark haired lady behind the bar (' mallory ' ?) is not a good presence around others , last time in we heard her denigrate one of the customer$ because she didnt get a big enough $ tip ( i can see why she didnt), then later on we heard her talking to another customer about an entirely different customer - and of course it was not positive.
we're told she is a long term bartender, despite her mouthy nasty attitude, so this tells me about the lack of integrity as well of ' ownership ' - whom clearly Allows her behavior...If I heard an employee talking to a cu$tomer as such they would be fired permanently.... But thats because i have ethics and respect for others.
No more $$ for Hooligans from us.. Congrats on your genius business savvy !

The evening began innocuously enough. The food was decent, and the service started off with an unsettlingly robust energy, as if the staff sensed something we did not. But as the hour grew late and the restaurant began to fill with several large parties, an ominous tension settled over the place, like the rising fog in a Maine town.
Our server, Jenny, was a beacon of warmth in the encroaching chaos. Her charm was disarming, and she spoke with a confidence that belied the storm brewing behind her eyes. She recommended the seasoned fries, a prophecy that proved accurate—they were indeed good. I ventured further, lured by the allure of wings prepared in a manner both familiar and disturbingly foreign: fried, then grilled. The smoky undertone was like a whisper from another world, intriguing yet unsettling. I savored the experience but knew in my bones that next time, I would seek the comfort of the ordinary.
My wife, blissfully unaware of the growing unease, reveled in her tuna melt. Around us, others seemed to enjoy their meals, oblivious to the mounting pressure on the staff. Despite the overwhelming tide of patrons, we managed to get our refills. We emerged from the experience mostly unscathed, with the memory of a good meal overshadowed by the ghostly remnants of a night that almost went awry.
If you made it here - I wrote the review and then asked Chat GPT to rewrite it in the style of Stephen King…I hope you enjoyed.

We had salads we often get the chickfilet salads for dinner but recently they have been too wilted. Hooligans is across the street and their salads were just a couple of dollars more with spinach and salad, and the boiled egg was cooked at restaurant not weird factory cooked eggs. I was thrilled with everything we got, I got a side of garlic toast that I will not order next time, but the croutons in the salad were made in house and fabulous. We picked up, so I don’t know about the atmosphere. It is a sports bar, just not my flavor, but it has a nice patio the Greek dressing was on point. It will not be long before we order again nobody cooks in this house.

Good experience at Hooligans, friendly staff, not overly crowded and food was good. I had a chicken cheesesteak which was seasoned well and average steak fries. Beers were cold and mixed drinks were done right!
I recommend.

Great time on my birthday with friends playing music bingo. Ashley was upbeat and kept you interested in the game. The food was above par. I'll be back for sure.
