Kakatiya Indian Kitchen

We recently did catering from Kakatiya for 100+ people. Everything was so well organized. Their severs came on time setup everything we did not had to worry about anything. We also did live dosa station. All our guests simply loved it and kept on praising for food and dosa. The owner is really nice and helped with all the logistics.

The food is good but service is horrible. I catered for my party, confirmed with them in the morning yet they showed up with only 1 cook and other miscellaneous stuff missing. It was very stressful to arrange for the missing items. Very disappointed with the service every time I order from them. Will be looking for another caterer for my next party.

Rejuvenation. Attribute this to tea, you would find it meaningful to the adjective. Such is the kind of tea they serve. If you happen to stop by snack time, a tea with potato-peas stuffed samosa would leave you reminiscent of back-home either Kerela backed Chai franchises or north backed Ginger tea street shops. It's worth a visit (multiple visits, but there is a caveat) after you complete your purchases at the Costco close by for the chai.

Important note: Hate to mention Chai darshan is pure by luck. Not always would you get a chance to sip tea. If available, rejoice it. If not, blame your luck. Restaurant is purely working for bulk take-aways, so dine-in or snack in might happen based on their availability.

2 out of 10 occurrences is when we happen to eat or dine-in in this location. Always come with the mindset, that you would not have a chance to eat or dine-in or takeaway from this location.

Tried Kadhai paneer it was very delicious.everything was so fresh and tandoori roti was very soft. Even the side rice were fresh and all food was freshly prepared. Highly recommend for their curries. Could improve their South Indian food. We ordered dosa which was again freshly prepared but sambhar was bland.

Outside there is a big sign which says “Eat More Dosas”, when I went there, they say we don’t make dosas and that they are busy preparing for a catering job and has limited items available. Fortunately we found “India Bhavan” nearby.

Parking: Tried buffet here $13, decent options, liked the paneer biryani and the hot Gulab jamuns. The rasam was fabulous

This place serves good food. We tried couple of times different kind of food they never disappoint us. Even sometimes we went only for tea and samosas.

Total pathetic disappointment. Kakatiya kaa khana GHATIYA.

No frills restaurant, but great food and service was great.

We met with Pradeep 2 times for food tasting and menu selection before our catering event on September 14, 2024.

We had live stations for Dosa (4 types), Ghee-Gun Powder Idly, Paneer Frankie, Mix Veg Pakodi, Chole Bhature, Chicken Kababs, Tandoori Shrimp, Pulihora, Shahi Tukada and Fruit Custard.

They were on time for the event, Pradeep brought 12 staff members to make sure all stations were manned and food was being served hot and fresh.

Please don’t go to this restaurant. They never honor what they committ to. Especially Pradeep. We did catering for one of our events. Food quality was bad and never on time . Here’s the detailed issues I encountered

1. Food was never on time. The comitted time was 11:30AM, food didn’t reach until 1AM
2. They committed to have 3 live counters a. Pani Puri, b. Chat 3. Kulfi for dessert
3. Pani puri they got is spoiled and had mould and started serving it to guests. One of the guests complained and he immediately replaced by buying store brought pani puri pakcets. I couldn’t stress more here.
4. He never got a starter item on the menu, and when asked he took the item from the back that was hidden.
5. The live counter for kulfi never started, when asked he said he will keep ice cream and can’t have ice cream.
6. He immediately absconded the event location and never reached out after 45 days.
7. Apricot delight - this was a disaster dessert. All my guests complained about it
8. Food was not sufficient. He committed for one number and just got single trays of every item. Some of my guests didn’t have food. After repeatedly calling and an hour later he sent food.

Overall a disastrous experience and never recommend going here. Especially if you want to have your event at peace.

Everything was FRESH AND DELICIOUS, got there a little bit early and the food was hot and the trays were full of chicken and vegetarian fare. I tried a little bit of everything. Fresh naan came with the meal, so good.
