I tried to visit with a friend around 5 pm yesterday. Google said it's open until 9. They changed their hours but didn't update it on Google.

Ordered the Chicken plate and Pork plate...both are amazing and tasty. Super fresh and flavorful.

Not bad for Korean fast food in the eastern U.S. But nothing compared to what you get on the west coast. Portion sizes were decent but rice was a little bland.

It was okay but nothing special.

Awesome food! Philly cheesesteak and sweet/spicy pork bowl is what we ordered. Both were great. Great customer service, enjoyed lunch on the outdoor patio. Will definitely be back.

This is my first experience with Korean barbecue. The plate of both chicken and pork had a wonderful smoked, charred flavor. The portions were generous. I found it to be a delightful place with ample indoor and outdoor seating.

Food wasn't bad but the service was horrible. We were the only people in the restaurant and it seemed to take a while to get the food. When it finally came my order was wrong. When I told the lady I ordered steak, not chicken, she disagreed with me but said she would "go check", whatever that means. She came back with the correct order but never apologized.

TL;DR A delicious, different take on quick, Korean-fusion food.

Love this place! The food tasted amazing! Especially since they use real firewood! The short ribs tasted as if I was at a real cookout! The ambiance was also nice ! I would highly Recommend ?

Very mediocre and not at all what I would call Korean barbecue. Should have stayed Burger 21 instead of this weak attempt at reviving business. The meat was overcooked and bland and the vegetables were strange for this type of food...carrots and broccoli..? The cost of each plate was more than 15.00 and they still charged you for sauce, which was a total necessity.

Middle of the road for me! Positives: the quantity of food was worth the price. $15.49 is not that bad for the Short Rib plate. It's served with rice, corn salsa, broccoli and carrots. Negatives: the meat doesn't have a huge Korean BBQ flavor. To have sauce, you have to pay $.25 per container of sauce. That's a little sad considering the meat is nearly flavorless. The Corn Salsa is cold. I'm guessing it's supposed to be that way. But the cold didn't mix well with the other veggies.

TL;DR A delicious, different take on quick, Korean-fusion food. KBBQ on Fire overtook what was once Burger 21. Kind of glad it did. This adds more to the variety around Alpharetta with EM Bop, Monkey 68, and now this. The menu is an eclectic assortment of sandwiches and rice bowls. The Philly cheesesteak and fries were pretty good. The meat in the Philly had a kind of bulgogi taste to it while the tofu rice bowl had a bit of an interesting flavor with the corn and bean pico thing going on. Overall, I enjoyed it. It was tasty and different. You'll notice large cords of wood when you walk in. I believe they finish the meat over a wood fire, giving it a distinctive taste. HOW TO READ MY REVIEWS: 1 Star - Does not approach edible. Enter at your own risk. 2 Stars - If I'm in the area, I'd pick something else. 3 Stars - I would stop by if I happen to be in the area. 4 Stars - I would pick this place out of other places nearby. 5 Stars - I would go out of my way to dine here.

Deceptive name for a restaurant. Ordered two dishes. Neither of them had any resemblance of Korean cuisine. My Korean chicken bowl was basically grilled chicken on rice. Literally nothing else. Food is uninspired and lazy. Get your Korean fix elsewhere. Interior is fine.

3.5 stars, but when deciding to round up or down I had to lean down. There's a few issues I had with this place... 1. The flavors just seemed to lack a boldness. The name is KBBQ on Fire, so where's the fire? Even their "Fire Sauce" was whimpy. I ordered the short ribs and the sweet & spicy pork. They tasted good but not great. And definitely didn't live up to the name KBBQ on Fire. I really couldn't even taste any sweet or spice in the pork. I had to dip everything in the Fire Sauce just to get some flavor. 2. I didn't love the sides that came with the plates. Asparagus, carrots, broccoli, corn salsa, and an egg. For veggie lovers I'm sure that's great, but I would have loved some options. 3. The service. The people were very nice, but we had some logistical issues. First, I ordered my food to go, but they brought my first item (an egg roll) out served as a dine in dish. I told the server I got my order to go, so he apologized and then a few minutes later showed up with a bag. The only problem was the bag was missing one of my dishes (sweet & spicy pork). So I then had to wait a few more minutes for them to prepare and package that. Overall there were some bumps in the road, but the staff was apologetic and kind throughout the process. Overall the quality of the place was nice, the inside is cozy and clean. My biggest issue was just the lack of bold flavor.
