Kilwins- Alpharetta City Center

If you love chocolate and coconut. Kilwins chocolate with toasted coconut. It's one of the best ice creams you'll ever put your hands on. Pro tip: not the whole locations carry the chocolate version so you have to keep an eye out and grab it when you see it!

My first time at this Kilwin's location but I've been to maybe 15 others. I ordered my favorite ice cream flavor at Kilwin's, the Traverse City Cherry, along with Pistachio. Delicious as usual.

The staff is so nice! I was immediately welcomed when I came in then gave amazing service. Overall amazing experience the icecream was amazing aswell.

Both times I went there were young people working that were not being clean. The guys were rubbing their faces and hair consisently with the gloves on! Not sure if they understand the purpose of wearing the gloves and they should really wash their hand before touching the clean gloves. Very unsanitary. Imagine paying $50 for chocolate to find a hair in it! He even put one glove on then rubbed his hands together so the clean glove and his dirty hand can touch.

Wear hair nets, let customer see you wash your hands, take lessons on food sanitation, and stop touching you hair when dealing with people's food!

Very dangerous chocolates!

It’s hard not to be happy when you walk in to Kilwins. Mostly, because you have a child or a grandchild in tow. When you enter, you are immediately greeted by the smell of sweet, ice cream and chocolate.
They do a nice job with the oversize scoops of ice cream in the cups and in the handmade waffle cones.
If you’re over 60 or lactose intolerant, you’re probably not buying the ice cream for yourself. Most likely you’re gonna be handing it off to a grandchild or a loved one. That’ll put a smile on their face. However, as soon as you see the total for your purchase, you’ll stop smiling, but when you look down and see how happy they are, you’ll start smiling again.

Today I went for a walk with my daughters and visited kilwins, the ice creams are really delicious!

Their ice cream is overwhelmingly sweet and has food coloring in it (My son’s mouth turned bright red after eating the raspberry sorbet). Not the best choice if you’re looking for high-quality ice cream. But the staff was nice.

My family and I visited Kilwins in Alpharetta for the first time today, and it was such a delightful experience from start to finish! As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were welcomed by the heavenly aroma of sweet treats drifting through the air. The store itself was spotless and beautifully kept.

We were immediately offered free ice cream samples, and each of us chose a different flavor — every single one was absolutely delicious! The young lady working was kind, patient, and very helpful as we made our choices.

After we paid, the owner, Todd, personally greeted us and offered a sample of the coconut ice cream — it was heaven in a cup! So creamy, flavorful, and easily one of the best ice creams I've ever had. He also shared a sample of the chocolate sea salt caramel apple, which was equally incredible, and followed that with a generous taste of their freshly made caramel popcorn. Todd even took the time to explain how it was made and kindly offered to slice the apple for easier sharing.

We left with full hearts (and even fuller hands!), completely impressed by not just the quality of the treats, but the warmth and hospitality of the staff. We couldn’t be more pleased. This will definitely become one of our favorite spots!
