Visited Kona Grill Alpharetta as part of a recent collaboration and was truly impressed! The all you can eat breakfast was such a a great deal! The food, vibes, and service were all on point it made for such an enjoyable dining experience (and beautiful content!). If you're in the area, definitely stop in for great sushi, cocktails, and a modern atmosphere.
Our server Jason was nice and very personable however he missed a few things on our order. Two people from our party ordered steak. Both dishes were unwhelming based on how the steak was prepared. Each steak was supposed to be grilled, but it didn't taste or look like it was grilled. Also, I requested an emailed copy of my bill via the automatic payment machine but I have yet to receive that.
Understanding that on Christmas Day not too many options are available, we decided to give Kona a try. First of all, kudos to the staff for working today, commendable. On to the food: tasted as it was prepared in a rush, calamari was chewy, baby back ribs we’re drowning in bbq sauce and cold, returned to have them reheated and that took too long. $385 for five people a bit overpriced, especially for the entrees. Undecided whether to give them another go during “normal” business...
