Amazing! I have been dying for some really good Egusi and Kovafood did not disappoint. I placed an online order and on arrival there was a little misunderstanding with my extra order of meat, however the staff made sure it was rectified right away. I typically like a thicker spicier stew, however the flavor was not lacking on either dish. The Egusi (with assorted meat) was packed full of meat which was a pleasant and welcome surprised! Needless to say you well not be disappointed!
This is a Nigerian restaurant. I had the assorted jollof rice, which had cow foot, tripe and beef in it. I paid $22 for it. I’m not Nigerian but I do like good food with fresh ingredients. I’m from a Jamaican household and I’d say the rice was good. The rice had the right amount of spices…slightly spicy. Glad to find an other local African restaurant. I wish I could tell you what I ate, but I just spoke to the waitress and told her to order for me and to pick me something she would eat. I liked all of it. I did asked for no turkey parts on the rice pic, but I still got it. It was good, not complaining about the tastes but I didn't want turkey that day.
