Extremely disappointing lunch experience. First off, we could tell our server did not understand our order, so we were expecting issues on the check before we even received it. As soon as my fiance got her soup, 30 seconds later an employee asked if she could take it as she was eating it. Odd. Later when we did receive the check, we let the server know we were charged extra for our meal. Instead of getting it taken care, he argued with us that we chose the wrong item. We asked for the menu to show him what we pointed to when we ordered, and instead he refused to bring us a menu. In the end the manager took care of us and we never saw our server again after he argued with us. Will not be back.

Delicious burgers & fries, veggie burger was one of the best we’ve had, fish & chips was really good too. The menu has something for everyone, even for people with food allergies. The kids loved the food too and all the pictures of dogs & the fireplace was a plus !!! Can’t wait to go back !!!

I want to start by saying I don’t write reviews simply because I understand things happen, however the treatment we received today was disgusting. I was invited today by a corporate trainer for a fine dining establishment to learn what we could that casual dining institutions could add to ours. I may be becoming bit picky only so you can understand the severity of the service. We weren’t greeted for 5 to 10 minutes and when my trainer wasn’t sure what to order the server left for almost 15 more minutes. When she returned she made a cheeky remark well was that enough time…okay no big deal. We ordered and never saw her again until our food came out…okay. We wanted to order a to go order we had to go find someone even though we told our server we wanted one. When she was finally found by her colleagues she stayed and joked with the gentleman bussing and came over after 5 more minutes. The soup was cold when it came out but we just ate. At the end of the meal I asked the server if we could get a new bowl of soup she told me how the soup was made telling me it wasn’t her fault. The entire time she was VERY condescending. When we said thank you she never responded. The most important thing about this visit was while all this was going on there were 2 tables and several servers, bussers, hosts, standing around. We never got refills and never were asked how our meal was. I insisted on paying because I knew I would write this review. I haven’t mentioned the servers name because she never offered it.

I recently met my family at Lazy Dog in Alpharetta GA for lunch. We have never been there before and we’re excited to try this new restaurant.
My husband and I arrived early, ordered a beverage and an appetizer.
When I started to order, I asked the waitress if she could give me just a minute as I needed to recheck what I was allowed to eat and drink while taking a certain, oral chemo cancer drug. I apologized to her for my ignorance and taking up her time. I explained that this was all very new to me as I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months prior. Had undergone surgery and radiation and now I was in the stage of oral chemotherapy.
Dealing with cancer is so overwhelming, and I was rather embarrassed. She was beyond patient and actually engaged in conversation with me about cancer. She told me that one of her family members was also battling this horrible disease.
The rest of our family by now had arrived and we were all very much enjoying our lunch as the food was absolutely delicious.
The manger, Steve Helms passed by our table a few times to ask if everything was to our liking and could he do anything for us.
Then he visited us again and presented me with a $100.00 gift card to return to the restaurant and have dinner on them.
I asked in utter surprise “ thank you but why are you doing this kind gesture “
He said the waitress told him that I was newly diagnosed with cancer and was having a difficult time. I just couldn’t believe the kindness of both the waitress and the manager to do such a thing. He said everybody who comes to the restaurant is treated as family, and we take care of our family and community. I have to tell you I have never felt such kindness as I started to cry from this unbelievable caring act and the genuine love and support from the entire restaurant. If you want to go out to eat and feel at home while enjoying great food, stop into Lazy Dog and say hi to Steve Helms the manger. He will surly welcome you with his friendly smile and treat as if you’re old pals from High School. You won’t be disappointed .

Waited way too long for bar service. Parking outside specializes in pick up. Basics are there but management needs to get customer focused.

My fiancé and I came to dinner and brought our little puppy with us. The manager tonight was genuinely there for us and cared about our dining experience I thought she was the owner with how she treated us. Didn’t catch her name, but she was very professional and caring.

I had such a great experience at Lazy Dog! I needed to get some work done while dining, so I called ahead to see if there was a table available near an outlet. The staff was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to reserve a table for me, even though I was an hour away. When I arrived, everything was set up perfectly, and I was able to work comfortably while enjoying my meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was just what I needed. I'll definitely be coming back!
