Can’t believe I haven’t already left a review. Have been here more times than I can count since Lily’s opened, and the experience has never been anything less than stellar. The Special Nigiri might be some of the best (if not the best outright) that I have ever had, and it’s impossible to go wrong with any of the appetizers or rolls either! Great atmosphere, great food, and great service.Plus, the wine and sake lists are pretty solid too!

Soo… I am actually still here.. At their beautiful, yet, unassuming bar. I just had some of the most delicious and beautifully presented sushi. And.. I’m not a traditional “roll” lady. I appreciate uniquely executed dishes and tastes that are not compromised by cream cheese or whatever else sort of “Merica” accoutrements that may accompany typical suburban sushi haunts. This may be a sloppy, sleepy Saturday in Alpharetta, but this establishment and its staff, food, etc.. is anything but. May I also applaud the lovely bartender, on duty today, for a wonderful take on the “Manhattan”. Excellent. Excellent.I cannot wait to return!!Xoxo

After a suggestion from a peer I met someone here as I was wanted sushi and I had never been here. The hostess was nice and tried to be accommodating as I didn’t have reservations and was a walk in. I started an appetizer with Thinly Sliced Yellowtail, which was good but not that shareable or a lot like I imagined with going to other places.I ordered the Sakura roll which was amazing but was not full as the roll was not a bigger, thicker roll but I decided to try the Kyoto roll which I didn’t enjoy as much.I only had water with lemon, and they came with the bill and then shortly we were asked to leave because they had reservations and people waiting. I’ve never dealt with that before and wish that was told before dining there as that changed my whole view and experience. The place is small and tight, but nice inside but I don’t like the feeling of being rushed especially after I spent almost $60 myself alone.
I have had great takeout from Lily, but this time I met a friend at the bar. We reserved two seats. My dining partner knows the owners well and the menu well, and we ordered so much food! We had the yellowtail hamachi and the O-toro which was in a ponzu sauce, and it was so delicate and fresh! We also ordered the baby octopus, grilled octopus, the sakura and Kyoto rolls which were melt-in-your-mouth. We also had this sushi roll that was a seaweed cone filled with sushi rice and assorted seafood. Again, spot-on, fresh, delicious and tons of umami. Lastly, we had the sea bass with brussels sprouts which was my favorite! So fresh and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend Lily and can endorse many dishes! Owners were extremely nice as was the staff.

Been here a handful of times and I love their food!! The nigiris are amazing, uni is wonderful, and the appetizers are good too. I did have one time where the rice was way too sticky so it sort of ruined my nigiri experience. I think they can also work on the timing of their dishes. The food can sometimes come out so fast that I finish my meal in 30 minutes? Also, parking can be a little trickier on busier nights as it’s in a popular plaza but still… I’ll be back again. The ambience is nice and the servers are really nice as well :)

After reading the reviews, we ordered take-out ($200 of awesome food). Small seating area. My understanding is you have to make reservations well in advance. Seats available at the bar however, if it's winter time the bar is right by the door and a little chilly. Great selection, fresh ingredients, and very flavorful. Portion sizes were fair and great value. We got Filet, Chilean Sea Bass, nigiri sushi, sashimi sushi, and a couple of house salads. We'll definitely be back!
