The Tavern House

When my friends and I walked in, we weren’t greeted by anyone. Another customer came up to us and told us to have a seat wherever. We proceeded to wait 15 minutes to even see our server at all. I think she was the only one working. She only came by when she got our drink order. After that, we had to go up to the bar and order because we were sitting there for an hour with no service. I don’t know if she just kept forgetting about us, or what. The food wasn’t worth the wait either. Our burgers were charred on the outside and greasy. We will not be returning.

Nice, open space restaraunt/bar. Brandon the bartender is a really good guy. I've not had food here. They do have free poker a couple of nights a week, that's why I go. ?

I really hate to hammer a local sports bar because I usually love them. We came to this one because they still have Buzztime trivia, which was about the only positive. Even though there were signs posted for wearing masks, there were zero COVID protocols, although initially we were able to spread out. They advertised Coors draft on special, but the keg was empty, as was almost all of their IPAs, and to boot, their CO2 was out so no Coke, etc. Still decided to order food, and better half got a fried chicken salad, which literally had a few pieces of lettuce in it. Watched another couple order sliders with extra crispy fries, and the fries actually came out cold. One and done for this place, and I do not recommend wasting your time!!

Fun dive bar with pool. If you are looking for an alternate to the expensive Avalon or downtown drinks come here. Cheap drinks, friendly staff and a fun place to hang out.

Rates more than 5 stars....omg!We were in the area and wanted a quick bite before heading back across town. When we walked in, there were just a few people , we were a bit skeptical at first, as it didn’t seem much was going for it.Long story short....service was top notch, food was on point, all our plates were empty...delicious. That was the best chicken philly I ever had. I live in Stone Mountain and I have no problem driving to Alpharetta to get this again.The DJ was amazing , at first I thought the original music was playing, no...this guy was actually singing .Great place with good vibes.

Good wings, attentive staff, PHENOMENAL POTSTICKERS! Everything we ordered was delicious! We loved the appetizer sampler platter and curly fries. Awesome start especially for the first time we came! The Tavern House had a sports bar atmosphere with low lighting. The place was extremely clean and well kept. The kids running around and karaoke were a bit much for my personal liking especially for the bar like atmosphere but but the Tavern house is moving away from the bar feel and trying to get more into the family scene. Karaoke is only a few nights a week. If you're not into it go a bit later, don't go on the theme nights really give this place the chance it deserves. We are excited about finding another great place and can't wait to come back to try more :)

Not what it used to be. Ordered the meatballs and one of 3 was so overcooked it was literally inedible.

Decent pub food. Place has very local feel. Always a regular or two (or five) in there. Nice staff. Also, entire place is now NO SMOKING; the divider between restaurant and bar is gone.

Don’t try to call in an order! Been on hold for 20 min. Evidently they forgot I was on hold!! Going somewhere else!

The Staff, the food, the atmosphere. This place has it. I remember when it was Locos and it was awesome back then and now it renovated inside and the open layout is a perfect update to the restaurant. Fantastic restaurant!

Absolutely the best atmosphere for me. Great music, great service. The bartender was an absolute delight! Highly recommended if you are in the area.
