We come here every couple of weeks for dine-in sushi. We've never had anything bad here and everything has always tasted fresh. Definitely much better pricing than any of the sushi places down at Windward parkway and top quality. We usually start with the super crunch roll as the shrimp is always great here, as is the ginger. The wasabi gives the perfect kick when mixed with low sodium soy sauce. The Alaska roll is nice, the eel never has a fishy flavor and the king crab roll is good. Definitely one of our local favorites and we will continue to patronize it!

Disappointing, waited 34 minutes and then finally just walked out. Was initially seated rather promptly though. However, 21 minutes after being seated grabbed a menu for myself and then the waitress asked if I wanted anything, when she noticed me finally. Asked for a water. 10 minutes passed and no water appeared. Spent half my lunch break at this spot and left hungry. Not recommended. Maybe hire more help? Your lone waitress seemed very overwhelmed.

Our anniversary deserved a special celebration, and what better way to do it than enjoying delicious sushi at Maki Sushi. Our friendly waitress, Yurly, guided us through an unforgettable dining experience.
We decided to venture out and try something different, avoiding the spicy roles. The first dish we chose was the #21 Laughing Calamari Roll, a breaded roll of fried calamari, crab, cream cheese and avocado, served with an irresistible ponzu sauce. It was so delicious I could have eaten it with just bread!
Then we tried the #34 Stuffed Chicken Tender, a roll similar to the previous one but with fried chicken instead of calamari. The combination of flavors and textures, along with the Saporo beer, was excellent.
But the dish that surprised us was #13 Crunch Love, a shrimp roll topped with crab salad, mango sauce and balsamic sauce, and garnished with masago and tobiko. The explosion of flavors in every bite was incredible.
Yurly revealed a secret to us: adding wasabi to soy sauce. That changed everything! The sauce became a delicious and spicy sauce that enhanced the flavors of the roles even more.
What we liked most was that none of the dishes had rice, which allowed the flavors and textures of the main ingredients to shine. It was an unforgettable culinary experience! We will be back soon!

Came in for lunch. Sat down. Waited 30 minutes. No one came to take our order. Then they started taking orders for other tables that came in after us.

Maki has the best lunch special anywhere. 2 rolls for $10, I typically pay $15-$17 for one. Always fresh and delicious, great service. Must try.

What happened? Used to be great now the service is terrible and food makes you sick
What a gem for this neighborhood.Probably my favorite sushi in the Atlanta area. The freshness and flavors are great.Sushi is an interesting food in America.Lots of sushi restaurants and 90% of the dishes are the same.80% of the recipes the same. Just shrircha, mayo and tunaThere are actually some unique well thought out maki rolls here. That is their specialty. They are fresh, taste great, and the price is phenomenal.Of course in Atlanta we’re not exactly a coastal city so there a few places that have the upper echelon of sushi. And if you were to get exceptional sushi why Atlanta? This is the spot to fulfill that sushi craving. To me the most important part of sushi in America is the rice. That’s where I see the biggest discrepancy.Everyone is getting their fish from the same source.Too often I’ve seen cheaper sushi with loads of rice that is not properly seasoned and is too soft or too hard. They do it right here, simple as that.We even get platters from this place for birthdays. Not sure what the dine in set up here is anymore, but I know ow it had been shutdown since Covid. If you’re in the area or need sushi for an event. I can think of no better option.Kind and generous owner.I know this seems like high praise. But there isn’t much to dislike. It’s just good sushi at an inoffensive price point. Also the rolls aren’t the the same 1000th one you already tried.

Um, HELLO!!! I'm not a huge Sushi enthusiast and rarely eat it, but this place was AMAZING! It was so good, nicely priced and a lot of food for the money. Server was a bit slammed, but overall it was great. I can't wait to go back. Spicy Tuna roll and Chicken Hibachi were great! 5 Stars!

A very nice place for yummy freshly prepared sushi for a good deal! The dining experience was pretty good. They had enough space and decent amount of seats. It's a bit confusing if you either order up front or sit down, but we were asked to sit down and were served. They also had some meals on a chalkboard and not on the menu that were so good! I had the chicken katsu curry and it was DELCIOUS!! For such a good katsu curry so close home I will definitely be returning!

One of my new favorite spots for sushi. Amazing lunch deal and the dinner service here is incredible aswell. If the chicken katsu curry is still the chef special I highly recommend it.
