This is one of my favorite places and has been for years. I’m puerto rican and some of my favorite dishes are really hard to find here in Georgia. When I saw ropa vieja and papa rellena on their menu, I had to try and they did NOT disappoint. They do it perfectly every single time. The bread & peruvian green sauce they give to you before you order is also perfect. I’m addicted to that sauce - I could eat a whole meal of just that lol (it’s spicy, just a heads up if you have a low spice tolerance). Their enchilados de vegetales is also bomb. It’s a very comforting, homey experience for me and I 100% recommend.

I love the food here. Growing up in Miami, I loved the Latin food and continue to enjoy every time I eat at this restaurant. This is a place to go for a consistently good meal.

Not worth it. Food was pretty bad, service was extremely slow. Prices are way too high for what you get.

It's been a long time that I have have great Cuban food in the Atlanta area, but Mambo's takes the cake! I am of Cuban descent, and a friend of mines knows how picky I am about Cuban food, and told me about how good Mambo's was. He was right! I always gauge how good a Cuban restaurant is by how good the black beans are. Well, after the first taste, I knew thos was going to be awesome! The vaca frita I had, was as good, if not better than any I've had in Tampa or Miami! Gracias Mambo's for a great experience! We'll see you very soon! Can't wait to try you Bistec Milanessa!

Mambo’s Café in Alpharetta is a lively, welcoming spot for Cuban and Latin-inspired meals. The menu features flavorful classics like ropa vieja, Cuban sandwiches, tostones, and empanadas — all made with fresh ingredients and bold seasoning. The portions are generous, and the food consistently hits the mark.

What I liked:
🌟 Authentic Latin flavors — Dishes are well seasoned and satisfying.
🍹 Friendly staff & atmosphere — The café has a fun, casual vibe perfect for lunch or dinner.
☕ Good drinks and sides — Great coffee, refreshing drinks, and tasty sides complement the entrées.

Things to know:
⚠️ It can get busy during peak times, so plan accordingly.
⚠️ Some menu items may vary slightly by day, but overall quality is strong.

Overall: A solid pick for Cuban and Latin café fare in Alpharetta — flavorful food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Mambo’s Café is hands down one of the best spots in Alpharetta for authentic Cuban food! The grilled chicken with shrimp is absolutely fantastic — perfectly cooked and served with flavorful black beans and yellow rice. Before the meal, they bring out a basket of fresh toasted Cuban bread with a jalapeño spread that’s so good you’ll want to take some home.

The service is always top-notch: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Every visit feels like a great experience, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Cuban cuisine and excellent hospitality!

🙄🙄🙄 how can you be a Cuban/Peruvian restaurant and the food is so bland? The subpar quality of the food is simply NOT worth those higher prices either.

We had such a great time at Mambos Café! Huge shoutout to José — he was so attentive, funny, and honestly made our whole night. 🙌🏽

The arroz con mariscos was AMAZING — super flavorful and definitely the highlight of our meal. The cocktails were okay, but the food and service made up for it.

Overall, great vibes and even better service. Thank you José!

Team luncheon, my steak was a bit overcooked and not as tender. The applause go to the steak sides (yum yum) extremely delicious. I normally order lamb and decided on this date to step out of my comfort zone. No worries, I will most definitely give Mambo another try!
