Great location to zip by for delicious salads & sandwiches — especially when you’re dining with pets! We had a great experience on The Patio at The Tavern — cheery umbrellas, all set up for lunch, with water delivered by our server for 2 dogs, who were both delighted to get out of the car for a respite! Our server was terrific, and the chicken salad, with a hint of tarragon: marvelous! I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich, with grilled red pepper, arugula, & goat cheese, + a side of sweet potato fries. Great iced tea, all around, easy parking, and clean rest rooms! Highly recommend this spot for a place for pets — and their owners!

We've eaten at Milton Tavern a few times and have enjoyed our meal, but recently we were extremely perturbed to see a diner sitting in the booth with their dog, who was dressed in a dress and had its paws atop the table, for over an hour while they dined. The managers, bartenders, and servers were all aware, but obviously not concerned. I am all for legitimate service dogs in establishments, but there is no reason a dog should have its paws on a restaurant table while diners are eating. This made me extremely concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant, and I likely will not return due to this.
Our server Jordan provided fantastic service and helped make the night out a fun experience. She set a new standard for best in class service! Not to mention the food was outstanding!

We eat at Milton Tavern quite a bit. We are always delighted when we have Jorden as our server. She is SO friendly and efficient and it is an overall joy to see her walk up to our table! The food is excellent, drinks are delicious and we love having this as our favorite local spot.
