My go to place for authentic Jamaican cuisine !

Adia Dupigny

I don’t know what part of Jamaica this owner is from. I ordered “stew chicken” and got baked chicken over rice. There was NO gravy and It was just seasoned. The cabbage was almost brown and the rice was subpar to the point most of it ended up in the trash. Will not be returning!

Worst Jamaican food I ever had in all my life and I’m Jamaican food was bland and oxtails have so much fat on it plus the rice was saggy I surely won’t be buying from there

The food was horrible. Didn't taste, look, nor smell like authentic Jamaican food. Only saw Hispanics in the back. Brown stew chicken was super light brown and bland. Rice was mushy like mashed potatoes. Cabbage smelled horrible. Threw my plate away. Will not revisit.

Worst curry chicken with big chunks of carrots and potatoes I’ve ever had. Chicken wasn’t as tender as it should’ve been. I ended up here because my go to Jamaican spot Scotchies was closed. Anyway, only thing curry about the chicken was the color. Flavor tasted like regular bland Chicken. No jamacian love in this dish at all. Couldn’t taste any Jamaican herbs or spices. Plantains were dry. If you’re Jamaican or know what real Jamaican food taste like try some other place because you’ll be disappointed here. If you don’t know how real Jamaican food should taste you may like it here.

Great shaded, outside eating! The jamaican tacos is an excellent concept and good to eat. Favors were on point!

The food will speak for itself! The way the flavors started to move its way through my tongue was phenomenal! The first bite of both of the entrees was an authentic taste like no other! The rice had a small kick to it! I’m not really too big on spicy food (I just can’t handle it ); but the rice was still great! Their hibiscus water is definitely a must try as well! The mac n cheese was not the best but I still ate it all haha!Overall this is a great place to get some authentic Jamaican food!

Cool owner that will own up to mistakes. While my initial thoughts were not the best, the owner fixed things. The Escovitch fish was season nicely. Great tasting peppers and seasoning. The rice and peas taste nice too. Best part was the ownership that knew how to turn a disastrous situation good.

As someone who loves Jamaican food this place disappointed me. The chicken was mostly bone and fat, the mac and cheese lacked any sort of flavor and the fried plantains were cold. For 16$ I expected to at least to be super stuffed but not even that happened. Definitely recommend going somewhere else.
