Flavors were decent for the most part, but definitely very overpriced for what was served.

Portion was very stingy for the price charged, menu was not accurate for the sides that came with certain dishes, and the nigiri specifically had an unpleasant smell compared to both cheaper sushi locations and more expensive omakase locations. Was looking forward to the beef toban, but it turned out to essentially be a tiny portion of beef-broccoli, which although tasted good, was not worth the price. Rice on the beef toban was overcooked and mushy.

Servers were kind, but service was very slow, with bad communication between the staff -- one server was ready to check us out before our main entrees were served.

Amazing spot in Alpharetta. Come from 5:00-6:30pm each Monday through Thursday and ask for the “Happy Hour” menu. It will not disappoint!

The restaurant had some chefs who were out sick which caused the service and receipt of food to be uneven. Things did not arrive at the same time which was understandable. The owner/ manager lady remedied this by cutting into the server’s tip, not the restaurant’s revenue. We were a party of 8 and 20% gratuity was automatically added. She took off the gratuity and told my husband to decrease the tip. I will never eat here again because that was a crappy way to resolve it. She should have comped part of the bill, not impact the server’s tip.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner tonight at Monkey 68 in Alpharetta. The wagyu dumpling special was very tasty. We loved the rolls, especially Sex in the City, New Spiderman, and Love Me Tender. Can’t wait to come again and try more rolls. Service was outstanding!

I thought the food was good. The restaurant has nice ambiance. It took 1 hour and 57 minutes to order takeout. That's way too long. They did offer me some edamame for my wait but that's too little. Something should have come off my bill. I ordered two drinks at the bar as well while I was waiting.

I got to know this restaurant through the introduction of Chef Chiori and visited there. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and modern. The cocktail was delicious, the sashimi was fresh, and the rolls were delicious. It was nice to grill cod with vegetables and rice, but it was seasoned a little. Strangely, the appetizer came out the last, so I couldn't eat it all, and it's a little expensive, but overall, it's a restaurant I want to go back to.

Alex's service and the Fried Japanese bagel roll,
Drunken Tiger Roll, and
Picante Roll made our evening!

What a nice little upscale sushi bar! I was instantly blown away by the posh and sleek interior, and the hostess was so sweet as we were instantly sat down. The candlelit lighting was beautiful and accentuated by the decor and bar lights inside the restaurant.

I ordered the Ba Ba Bu roll (which was half off during happy hour!) and the 5 Sashimi platter (15 pieces in total, 3 of each). Fish was fresh and delicious, melting in my mouth basically. The Ba Ba Bu roll had a delightfully bright note with the lemon! Overall, such a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

I'm a huge fan of Chirori so I was excited to try Chef Jackie's new restaurant, Monkey 68 Kitchen & Bar in Alpharetta. Apparently, there's a Monkey 68 in Roswell as well so don't make the same mistake I did & go to the right location lmao. I visited last night, which happened to be Alpharetta Restaurant Week & tried their tasting menu. OMG, everything was soooo goood & I left feeling full & satisfied. My fav new drink is the Matcha Highball, Japanese Whiskey & Matcha is a match made in heaven!! The Iheartdogs cocktail is very refreshing as well!! Do yourself a favor & come check it out (: you def won't be disappointed!

Thank you Chef Jackie, Misty & Daniel for your hospitality & impeccable service. I've always had a great experience with Chef Jackie & his team. Food, service & ambiance always on point! Can't wait to come back to try their other menus as well! ^^

Liked the place, food and atmosphere. Ordered their dinner special. It was delicious but felt like the portions were kind of small.
