Enjoyed a delicious dinner tonight at Monkey 68 in Alpharetta. The wagyu dumpling special was very tasty. We loved the rolls, especially Sex in the City, New Spiderman, and Love Me Tender. Can’t wait to come again and try more rolls. Service was outstanding!

I thought the food was good. The restaurant has nice ambiance. It took 1 hour and 57 minutes to order takeout. That's way too long. They did offer me some edamame for my wait but that's too little. Something should have come off my bill. I ordered two drinks at the bar as well while I was waiting.

I got to know this restaurant through the introduction of Chef Chiori and visited there. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and modern. The cocktail was delicious, the sashimi was fresh, and the rolls were delicious. It was nice to grill cod with vegetables and rice, but it was seasoned a little. Strangely, the appetizer came out the last, so I couldn't eat it all, and it's a little expensive, but overall, it's a restaurant I want to go back to.

Alex's service and the Fried Japanese bagel roll,
Drunken Tiger Roll, and
Picante Roll made our evening!

What a nice little upscale sushi bar! I was instantly blown away by the posh and sleek interior, and the hostess was so sweet as we were instantly sat down. The candlelit lighting was beautiful and accentuated by the decor and bar lights inside the restaurant.

I ordered the Ba Ba Bu roll (which was half off during happy hour!) and the 5 Sashimi platter (15 pieces in total, 3 of each). Fish was fresh and delicious, melting in my mouth basically. The Ba Ba Bu roll had a delightfully bright note with the lemon! Overall, such a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

I'm a huge fan of Chirori so I was excited to try Chef Jackie's new restaurant, Monkey 68 Kitchen & Bar in Alpharetta. Apparently, there's a Monkey 68 in Roswell as well so don't make the same mistake I did & go to the right location lmao. I visited last night, which happened to be Alpharetta Restaurant Week & tried their tasting menu. OMG, everything was soooo goood & I left feeling full & satisfied. My fav new drink is the Matcha Highball, Japanese Whiskey & Matcha is a match made in heaven!! The Iheartdogs cocktail is very refreshing as well!! Do yourself a favor & come check it out (: you def won't be disappointed!

Thank you Chef Jackie, Misty & Daniel for your hospitality & impeccable service. I've always had a great experience with Chef Jackie & his team. Food, service & ambiance always on point! Can't wait to come back to try their other menus as well! ^^

Liked the place, food and atmosphere. Ordered their dinner special. It was delicious but felt like the portions were kind of small.

This Monkey68 location is not the same as the one in Roswell and I believe has been under new management since earlier this year.

The food was decent, though they were out of some appetizers. We ordered the Alpharetta tasting menu, two rolls, yuzu scallop, scallop foie gras, and drinks.

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. After serving us water, our server was rarely around. We waited about 25 minutes just to place our order, and one drink was sent to the wrong table while the other was forgotten entirely. The food also arrived incorrectly, causing more delays, and our waters were never refilled. What should have been a nice dinner turned into a two-hour ordeal. To top it off, another server approached me at the end and asked why I looked so tired, which was a bit awkward lol..

On a positive note, we had a reservation for tonight but ended up calling to see if they could move it to last night. Since they weren’t busy, they kindly accommodated us, which I appreciated!

Went to the Alpharetta location for the first time, being told the menu is different and excited to try some new things. Not sure if they were understaffed but service was terrible.

The staff were nice, but incredibly slow. I had to remind them of our alcohol order, more water, part of our food order, and to boot, I booked this as an anniversary dinner with a champagne request that went totally ignored. The food was good as always.

The atmosphere is much more casual than Roswell. They had a football game on a tv above the bar, so I asked it be changed to another game (when in Rome) just to find out they’re playing YouTube reruns of old sports games? Wtf??

Tipped my 10% and left, and won’t be going back. Shouldn’t have tipped that much either.
