Love the atmosphere of this locally owned business. Service is great, food is good and the cocktail I had was very good! (Manhattan). I've also had Sunday brunch here, which was very good.

We got here early on the night of the tree lighting. Waited a long time for mine and my kids food to arrive. When it finally did, my food wasn’t warm and I had to send it back. My husband ordered a simple salad with chicken and it never arrived! We asked multiple times and kept getting the run around. We ended up asking for a refund on his salad. Never again.

Stopped in for breakfast. Local. Homemade. Hospitality was pleasant and full of kindness. Atmosphere was perfect…nice music at the right sound level to carry a conversation. I had a biscuit sandwich. Delicious! I will be back!

I can’t believe I’m writing this because ive been coming here and absolutely loving it for over 8 years. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and the piece was chicken was completely raw. Not only for that but the manager (who has never ever been friendly) just brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal. I’m heartbroken that this has been our experience and I will never go back.

Rosemary bread needed to be toasted-too thick too dry. Tuna was most bland sandwich I have had in a lonnnnng time -do not recommend.

Tonight we visited the Halcyon location for the 2nd time since moving here! The first time we thought the food and staff were amazing! After dinner we bought two take and bake meals and a pie for the week. All were incredible.
Tonight was even better than the first visit. The Georgia Peach salad (tonight’s special) was probably one of the greatest salads I’ve had. The chicken salad was phenomenal. Both kids finished every bit of their meals.
This is a new staple in our house.

Place your order at the counter as you come inside and they will bring it to you when it is ready. You fill your own drinks at the drink bar. It has a nice setting for not having servers take your order, but it looses the quality experience for not having table service. The patio outside is covered from the rain and hot sun. The indoor area was a bit loud during lunch time. Food arrived in reasonable time, but not enough for a quick lunch. The burger was average, but it was pricy for quality. The potatoes in the vegetable bowl were not cooked long enough. A side party asked what to do with their dirty dishes. It wasn't clear how to leave your table.
