Our experience was okay. Our server was just okay. The food was good. I requested a booth and was not seated in one when there were 2 booths available. We asked what I believe was the manager to take our photo as we were leaving the restaurant and she told us to give her two minutes. The restaurant wasn't even a quarter full. 3/4 of the restaurant was completely empty. For the amount Ocean & Acre charge for their meals the service should have been better.

The food and the service were impeccable, but the espresso was awful. Maybe that coffee was brewed in an espresso machine, but the person who made it clearly never received training on how to make an espresso. We had to walk to the Il Botegone to get a perfect espresso. I hope I can drink an espresso at my next dinner.

Really good food. The mussels and bouillabaisse pasta were excellent. I gave 4 stars as the shrimp were a little fishy, but overall the food was excellent. Our server, Sean, was friendly, professional, and a great server. Really enjoyed our experience and will be back.

Ocean and Acre was good but not great. Some of the food was pretty darn good, the fried shrimp and lobster especially. Some was rather bland, the steak and the hush puppies. The drinks were excellent. What really drove our rating down was the value. $27 for 6 shrimp, some fries, and some slaw is not tremendous. Same goes for the lobster tails, which were tasty but tiny. I would like to call out though that the staff was excellent! Our waitress was attentive, helpful, and seemed to be there second we looked for her but not overbearing.
