My family and I have frequented this location several times since moving to the area. In person, we have always had a pleasant experience with the service and loved our food. Today (8-1-2025) we decided to order takeout and we definitely wasted our money. My fish looked and tasted like chicken (yes, I ordered fish), the potatoes were half cooked and my husband’s meal was equally terrible. We will not order takeout from here again as it’s best experienced in person so you can be sure your order is what you expected and if not, you have a chance to change it. We wasted a lot of money, the food was placed directly in the trash!

I ordered the Mississippi Catfish Opalusas. It was fresh and really delicious. It was $41.00, but it was worth it. Our server, Roe, did an outstanding job. I'll definitely be back to this location.

We did a curbside pickup and the service was excellent. The employee was so professional she told us she's worked for pappadeaux for 10 years. That tells me not only is the food excellent, the way they treat their employees must be great as well.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was too disappointing not to share. When my food arrived, it was cold, so I politely informed the staff, expecting they would correct the issue by preparing a fresh meal. Instead, they only replaced the fish and served it right back with the same cold fries that I had already complained about. This shows a complete lack of care for quality or customer satisfaction.

Not only was the food subpar, but the attitude towards fixing their mistake was unacceptable. When you pay for a meal, you expect it to be hot, fresh, and served with a basic level of respect for the customer’s concerns — none of that happened here. If this is how they handle complaints, I would strongly advise anyone thinking about eating here to go somewhere else. There are plenty of restaurants that value their customers enough to get it right the first time or at least correct a mistake the proper way.

Always loved Pappadeaux in Illinois and this location is just as good. Service was excellent and the food fantastic. I think of Pappadeaux's first when we have company visiting and need to take them dining.

Revised 7-26-25 disappointed to see the gator bites have been removed and replaced with a different gator dish. It looks like a chicken finger, the dip has changed and no potato strings. They have pickles and peanuts ???? With some kind of Tabasco sauce mash. Very disappointed

Wow! If you are in the Atlanta/Alferreta area, this restaurant is a must visit for it friendly atmosphere. The staff are sure to make your dining experience one of a kind. So, treat yourself, your special person, and/or your family to fine inexpensive dining at Pappadeax's.

Really good place. Food is great and our server was very nice and attentive! Definitely will remember this place. Once you eat here you will never have seafood the same. Definitely recommend going here if you want to spend some money for something savory and memorable.
