Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

I've been here several times (more than I care to admit), and they never disappoint. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The portions are very generous as well. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back! Pictured are the seafood cobb salad with crab meat and shrimp (take out) and a couple of martinis at the bar. Also the shrimp and crawfish fondeaux as well as the roasted oysters were fantastic. The salad is my go to, but everything I've tasted has been wonderful (scallops, stuffed shrimp, mozzarella sticks, swordfish are all delicious...probably forgetting a few items 😬)

I ordered the fried crawfish, and unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan—the food was cold and didn’t meet my expectations. However, the service was absolutely amazing; the person who took care of us was kind and attentive. I really appreciate the great service, but as a foodie, I can’t return if the food isn’t up to par.

It was my birthday and a great place for one. Happy birthday to me at Pappadeaux. The crawfish etouffee I had was spectacular but you might be a little leary of the grill salmon salad....it smelled funny (different) but the taste was fine - my wife ate it and I tried a bite and thought it was okay. It might have been a particular spice that we're familiar with. But all and all it was still great.

Update 10/24!2025: Outstanding Food and Service at Pappadeaux!

Pappadeaux never disappoints! The food was absolutely incredible — perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The new dish: red fish topped with crispy fried oysters was bursting with flavor, and the collard greens and roasted truffled potatoes on the side were the perfect complement.

We also ordered the fried shrimp platter, and it was, as always, one of the best I’ve had anywhere — golden, crispy, and juicy inside, with fries that were hot and perfectly salted. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous.

Service was excellent from start to finish — attentive, friendly, and quick without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is warm and lively, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.

If you love seafood, this place is a must. Every visit reminds me why Pappadeaux stays a favorite — consistent quality, great ambiance, and food that leaves you completely satisfied. Highly recommend!
