If we can add decimals, a solid 4.86/5, but they really have been maintaining their standards for years now. Suprised to see they are only rated a 4.4 on here, but their food quality is amazing compared to a lot of other restaurants in the Alpharetta location. Not to mention, they are operating in a complex that has been struggling for years to attract new businesses. If you go there, you will see a lot of empty spaces that are open for rent, don't be fooled though as this restaurant is hands down one of the best authentic local Italian restaurants that Alpharetta has to offer. A lot of people talk about Bucca Di Bepo (location near north point mall) and Sugo, but this in my opinion is way better than Bucca Di Bepo and right up there with Sugo. Hopefully they stay here for years to come.
Restaurant needs updating - needs more Italian atmosphere. All the food was delicious but felt the entrees (we had chicken) should have been served on top of pasta. Service was great!
I've lived around the corner from this place for a few years and am glad to have finally checked it out. I ordered the carbonara, which was definitely not made in the traditional way, but was sooooo tasty nonetheless. My husband got the lasagna and was also a big fan. We will be back to try more for sure

Portion was not up to the standards I normally have at this place. My wife and I wanted a small meal and ordered the Alfredo with shrimp. When we got home we were surprised that it only had 5 shrimp total in it. Flavor was very good and we enjoyed it. BUT 5 shrimp seemed a little skimpy and seems to be the standard now for carry out. Once you are home there is little you can do about what you get. Dine in meals are better.

Food was great as was the service! The staff was very accommodating especially since we were there with a large group (8 people including a toddler). The chef came out and we were able to thank him and his staff for the delicious meals and the dessert was freaking awesome!! A definite recommend for anyone who wants good food!!
The food and service are excellent! Their menu offers an ample variety, including several seafood options, and their pasta is some of the best in John's Creek! The wine selections are just adequate, and the atmosphere is underwhelming. But if you want great food and service with a comfortable, casual feel, you must try it!Vegetarian options: Salads, pasta, and gnocchi!

Neighborhood restaurant with plenty of seating. Good food and timely service. Surprised it wasn't busier.
Came here for a business meet up. I've never heard of the place beforehand. I had the spinach ravioli. To me, it kind of lacked flavor. My partner had the salmon over spinach. He said it was good. The garlic knots that they serve before your order come out are pretty good. Sorry, no pics this time. It was all business ?

Pasta Vino has been my favorite Italian restaurant for the last 20 years-- enough so that I drive up to eat there on my birthday every year even though I now live downtown. The lasagna is my go to, and their pizza is always thin and crispy and chewy in all the right places. The servers are friendly and attentive. Don't skip dessert, the chocolate cake and cheesecake are made in house and are fantastic.Parking: Ample parking right out front.

Pasta Vino has been in Johns Creek for years and seems to have major popularity. It gets very busy on Friday nights with families and kids and it seems like a lot of regulars. The ambience is very loud and decor is plain but given the popularity, I had high hopes for the food. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations at all. The garlic knots were hard and dry and they only offered 2, which was fine since I wasn't even a fan. The chicken parmigiana with spaghetti tasted like a cafeteria school lunch. Everything pre-packaged including the bland, flavorless red sauce which it was drowning in. No cheese and the breading was sliding off the chicken. Presentation was just as bland as the flavors. On the plus side, our waitress was great but I would not recommend. You can honestly get better food at Provino's or even Olive Garden.
The dining experience was top-notch!
