Poké Bar at Avalon

This place has never disappointed me until yesterday. My mom and I came in, got the exact same thing. I ordered a side of kimchi, not thinking anything of it. It looked spoiled and smelled off, despite my hesitation I ate some of it. My mom also had some of it too, but there was half the container not eaten. A few hours later, I felt extremely sick! She was fine, but I was nauseous and unwell.

Their bowls are always fresh, but for the past few times I've gone, their kimchi hasn't been fresh. Their food, service and atmostphere are great, but if you get the chance, PLEASE AVOID GETTING THE KIMCHI! It's not fair to sell kimchi for an extra $2.50 and it's not fresh. Fortunately, I'm so much better, but I came down with slight food poisoning after eating that. They need to do better with providing fresh kimchi to their customers.

I ordered the tuna and the Mango tea and it was so good, I callled the resturaunt and thanked the owner because she left a sweet note in my bag. I think this place is excellent!!

Incredible family owned and operated business that cares about their customers and quality of food. They have recently branched out to offerings like kimchi fried rice and dumplings. As a franchise business, you will leave feeling fulfilled in supporting this location.

Poke was good, but I just have the beta service ever ? I think her name was Aku? She was so kind! I was having a bit of a bad day but she managed to make it a bit better with her kindness. This restaurant is so lucky to have her working there.

Poké bar Avalon is the best staple of Alpharetta. Rebecca and her team make the atmosphere amazing and it feels like a small business where you can’t stop going. In a world full of chain restaurants , Pokebar Avalon shines through. You have to go there

Ordered from here while staying at a hotel nearby. When I opened my bag and saw the note I was expecting it to be bad news about a missing ingredient. I was happily surprised to see such a kind note from the owner. Food was great as well

I ordered this poke bowl through Uber eats. I had never had poke bowl before and I was VERY nervous. I love sushi, but this felt different.I am so happy I ordered from there. It was delicious. (Obviously it will depend on what you order to determine if you like it) but the combination I had of Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, white rice, greens, sesame seed oil, sesame seeds, edamame, sweet onions, pineapples, sweet corn, and the sweet chili sauce… oh my gosh. And the ingredients taste and feel very fresh. I can’t wait for my dinner tomorrow (I ordered two) and can’t wait to eat here more.I highly recommend it. Just make sure you know WHAT you are ordering and you like what you are ordering. :) 12/10 will eat again.Also: Rebecca, thank you very much. It was incredibly sweet and unexpected. But definitely surprised me and made me smile.
