Clean and nice atmosphere to taste chicken meals.I enjoyed their chicken plate with spicy sauce, chicken sandwich and salad. I recommend Japanese drinks too.

We had a catered lunch here at SpecialT for our company. Lori Sincere the catering manager was wonderful. Her communication was outstanding and the service was great . She was early and helped me set everything up and make sure I knew what everything was. She brought everything we needed to make sure this group lunch for 50 people was super successful. The food was gone..... which is a good sign! We will absolutely be using her services in the future. Her last name describes her very well....She is very sincere and loves what she does!

After new management service has gone down tremendously. They always have an attitude and are not friendly whatsoever. She always looks unhappy and does not create a good atmosphere. Food has been ok after as well but the atmosphere makes it a horrible experience.

The lady at the cash register was super kind and patient as I read every single thing on the menu lol. It was very clean inside and all the employees were kind and working hard. 10/10 will be back again!!

Ponko was my first love. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about her when I first met her. But sometimes, she’s not the bombshell she usually is. About half the times I go, Ponko is completely different. Different fries (I order the sweet fries, usually wavy and delicious, but this time they were cut differently and unseasoned) and spongy rice compared to the usual perfect stickiness. I don’t know why she changes the way she does, but Ponko does. And while I feel as though I’m achieving nirvana every time Ponko delivers as usual, visits to this establishment have become more sparse due to the risky nature of recent quality.

The food is first quality products, prepared expertly with healthy options, in home prepared sauces and side dishes add to the unique flavors!
The atmosphere is very modern and open, great light!
My family had a great meal and visit there. The manager/owner is extremely friendly and explained the menu and all options available.

Vegetarian options: The vegetable patty is amazing!

Wheelchair accessibility: Level and open access. Widen doors, solid tables and chairs.

Most of the sauces are sweet.
Specifically the OG sauce is just sweet soya sauce.
The spicy sauce is boring.

Overall, I found the chicken to be quite average and the sauces weird.

The ponko fries are crispy and perfect.

On my random adventure with my wife and, we were absolutely blown away by the flavor profile of the chicken and specific crunch factor as well.

Sauced chicken retained it's crunch and flavor as well. It's worth it.

First time visiting Ponko, we both got lunch special which is a great value! 5 crunchy chicken tenders, a side, & a drink for $10.80 and it was very filling. I got the OG sauce which was a sweet, soy/teriyaki but the chicken was still crunchy and juicy not dried out. Great spot for a quick bite. Would come back to try other items.

There is something so deliciously different about Japanese bbq. Love the different combinations they have for not just chicken but also tofu and other protein! My personal favorite is their tacos ! With original pinko chicken!
