This chicken is so addicting!!! We go once a week for lunch! Highly recommend the chicken tenders with the OG sauce and rice!! So yummy!

Ponko's Chicken in Alpharetta has proven to be an absolute hit-or-miss, and unfortunately, this visit was a major miss. While I've had genuinely great experiences here, the inconsistency is a real problem.
This latest order was downright disgusting. The sheer amount of grease in my to-go container was inexcusable. There was literally enough oil pooled at the bottom that I could have re-fried the chicken myself! It makes me wonder if the chicken was even drained properly after frying, or if someone just poured a half-cup of oil over it before boxing it up. This level of sloppiness is unacceptable.

Ponko is always delicious!! They have one of the best tofu sandwiches I’ve had at a restaurant. The OG sauce is amazing!!!! Service is always so nice at this location, the employees and the manager are alway very kind.

Our family loves Ponko and has been coming to this location for a few years. We travel an hour each way to get our Ponko fix🤣. We have introduced friends and out of town family to the joy of Ponko…no one has ever been disappointed. Only wish one would open closer to home. Can we get one in Woodstock/Canton in Cherokee county?!?!?

Wonderful food and beautiful decor! I really loved the chicken wings and tenders. The green beans and salads are my favorites sides. Recently had the hot dog, which was really great. The specialty teas are delicious. Great place to have drinks at their full bar. The deserts are always fresh and tasty. The fries are out of this world. Great staff

Discussing delicious food, Ponko is the addicting option. I dine here at least once a week. I appreciate the service and fresh food. I recommend the tacos or anything with the chicken and sweet sesame sauce.

I absolutely love ponko chicken. It was fresh, flavorful, crunchy, moist, and you could see the sauce seeping out of it almost like a juicy burger. The bathroom was also kept in nice condition and smelled good! Not only that but I ordered 3 tacos with non-grilled chicken and it was wonderful. It tasted Asian level of flavor which is saying a lot as an Asian myself. To add the ranch was above average and the fries were crunchy and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pickles were nice and fresh and tasted refreshing paired along with the salty chicken. Plus the pickles don’t taste too salty but nice and cooling. The toppings added on the tacos offer a taste so good that I can’t even begin to describe. The peach tea was not bad and they also have dip in dots. They have two separate bathrooms that are spacious and for both women and men. The service is so interactive and felt comfortable. They were friendly and their food didn’t disappoint. The chicken is halal. Everything about it was perfect after a long hot day at school and this was just the meal to satisfy my hunger. The fountain drinks also have the good kind of ice. I like the seating booths. The menu offers a variety of different meals and overall a splendid environment to eat in. It met my expectations of both the food and the atmosphere as the A.C protected me from the blazing heat and burning sun.

Ponkos chicken is some of the best chicken I have had lately. Me and my friends came here after a long day of school and we were not disappointed at all. After trying Ponkos chicken for the first time at the taste of Alpharetta, I already knew that it was good. But having it in store is completely different and the chicken is just so much better. The staff were SO sweet and kept asking us if we needed anything or if we wanted anything else. Overall, extremely good experience and everyone in Alpharetta should come down and get some Ponkos chicken!
