This is a special occasion restaurant through and through. From the moment you enter, you are surrounded by high quality interior design that celebrates the Georgia wilderness, expensive wine bottles in their cellar, oysters on ice and servers waiting on you with the utmost care and consideration. It almost bordered on too much attention since our server boasted about how much they wanted us to feel catered to, but that’s what you’re paying for, so be prepared.
Food-wise, I loved the pimento fritters that reminded me of arancini, but gooey since there’s no rice. The spice from the pickled jalapeño mixed with the sweet honey-esk sauce paired super well with the fried cheese. I think they could elevate the dish even more by adding sprouts on top, cream in the middle, and freshly toasted crostini or small buttermilk biscuits to soak up the rest of that jelly.
The shrimp and grits were also delectable, with a good amount of shrimp and sausage on the corn and grits. I enjoyed the hint of spice from the jalapeño and the richness of the grits. My only criticism is the amount of oil in each bite. If they tone down the fat and add a side salad or other crisp, green vegetable, I think it would be perfect.

The food was ok. My issue was the fact that I ordered my food 15 minutes before the last of my group arrived, then ordered. And got my food 15 or 20 minutes after they got their food.

Very sad the menu has changed. I had a taste for the red fish with crab and unfortunately the menu has completely changed. I will still give them a shot.
Don't leave your car in the back, breakins are apparently common, happened to 8 cars during dinner

This was a great experience.. I went for my birthday and everything was delicious. My fiancé had a lychee martini which for him being a non drinker was strong for me a girl who enjoys a good drink, it was perfect. I had creamy espresso martinis and they did the job wonderfully. As appetizers we had the crab cake and New Orleans bbq shrimp. And I must say I was excited for the entrees because they were so good.. the sauce that was paired with the shrimp can probably make a shoe taste good. We opted for the same entree and we were extremely happy we did, we order blackened red fish and crab over jalapeño grits..it had the same sauce from the shrimp, so of course that was great but believe it or not the grits were the star of the dish I usually cheese salt and pepper my grits so the way they prepared them was a change I truly enjoyed. Overall great meal start to end, our server was great as well very attentive but not bothersome. Food came out fairly quick but we did not feel rushed. Oh and my crème bruleé was awesome. And complimentary, we know free always taste better. All in all we'll be back, none of the Rays has ever disappointed and this location has stayed on standard with the others.
Amazing steak and amazing vibes. Server did fantastic taking care of my family (2 year old son) and made us feel very welcomed.

A Perfect 60th Birthday Celebration at Ray's Killer Creek We recently celebrated a very special milestone Bobby's 60th birthday at Ray's Killer Creek, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, Molly made the entire planning process effortless. She was incredibly responsive, patient, and open to all of our ideas. She presented thoughtful options, helped us customize the experience, and ensured we secured the perfect private dining room for our celebration. Her professionalism and attention to detail made us feel confident that everything would go smoothly and it absolutely did. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff, and the private dining room looked beautiful exactly as we envisioned. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and it truly set the tone for an unforgettable celebration. Bobby was completely surprised and deeply touched by how special the evening felt. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the wait staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of. We appreciated being able to bring a personalized birthday cake, and the staff even joined in to sing “Happy Birthday,” which made the moment extra memorable. The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was a thoughtful touch that showed how much they value their guests. Thanks to Molly and the entire Ray's Killer Creek team, Bobby's 60th birthday was a night to remember full of warmth, laughter, great food, and exceptional service. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Ray's is one of our favorite places and although the overall experience was good, it was not as good as it has been. Besides the great food & drinks, we also look forward to the ambience and it was disappointing to see people in shorts, baseball caps, sweatshirts etc. We enjoy dressing for the occasion and it was clear the dress code is not being enforced. Will this experience stop of us from returning...probably not but if we want to dress for the occasion then we may decide another establishment.
Tyrone is the BEST server and he is ready to take the floor by storm!!!! Always ask for him!

We had wonderful service from Meagan and Rufus - very attentive and friendly. Meagan explained the menu in detail which was helpful. We were celebrating a birthday and a retirement- it was perfect.

I love the room, the service and, mostly, the food. Everything was excellent with one exception. Their idea of medium rare and mine are different. It was a fine New York strip that would have been perfect had I ordered it medium. We had a guest for her birthday, so I did not make a fuss, and we will most likely go back. Bring money.
We thought we would go to Rays at Killer Creek, for a burger..Comparatively speaking, a lower cost choice on the menu of @19.00. But found out they were out an had to get the Wagu version which was $35.00.. They should have as a courtesy for their error in not adequate inventory, only charged us the $19.00. The was a 4:00 pm reservation when they just opened, so they didnt run out because of that days demand..

Ray's provided the highest of quality for our celebration. Our server Ms. J was exquisite. She gave a presence that was comfortable, professional. She anticipated our every need and desire. Our glasses were never empty. She was very attentive. She made sure we were all served with excellence. The assistant servers were very attentive and professional in their delivery of our food. Our food was very well prepared, flavorful and at the perfect temperature. Even as we were leaving, we left behind a very important item we had not realized was left behind, the attendant that cleaned our table ran to locate us to make sure we did not leave the premises without it! AMAZING! If you are looking for a high end, friendly, cordial and attentive experience, come to Ray's in Alpharetta. You will not be disappointed.

Everything tasted great and experience was good. Just can't get over spending $6 for 2 rolls.
