I have been to Rumi's kitchen at all three locations and believe I have been here with family and friends at least 50 times over the past 4 years. Rumi's Sandy Spring (currently under construction) and Rumi's Colony Square serve excellent food with excellent service. The food at Rumi's Avalon is also excellent. The service is abominable. This is my third visit to this location and all three times the service has been HORRIFIC. We waited a long time for a table...
Had dinner on a Sunday at 4:30 pm. Restaurant was quite busy considering the time and day, but surprisingly not loud. Staff greeting us on our arrival were very nice and attentive, despite being quite busy. Our server, Hailey, was excellent, appropriately engaging and attentive with a very pleasant youthful demeanor and nuanced service we associate with older, seasoned servers at "top end" restaurants She knew the menu well making meaningful recommendations based on...
Olivia in Alpharetta was an amazing server and definitely knew her stuff. She answered every question I had about the menu and also offered great suggestions. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks again Olivia.
