WHY DID YOU CLOSE THIS AWESOME LOCATION and RESTAURANT?!?!?!? The Johns Creek location & restaurant should have been closed instead! Went there Saturday b/c Alpharetta location was closed and spent well over $200 for the worst service, food and ambience!!! I would have gone to any other restaurant had I known that the Johns Creek location was nothing like the Alpharetta location. Who ever made the choice to close Alpharetta and keep the inferior Johns Creek location open made a gigantic error! Everyone in my party felt the same way. So sorry we wasted a birthday celebration at a Mexican restaurant that DOSEN'T EVEN CELEBRATE BIRTHDAYS! It's a sad day when one of your favorite restaurants closes!

I took the family and a couple friends here on Saturday night at 7:00. The place was empty and the service was horrible. All the servers were on their phones not paying attention to anyone. They will be out of busines in 3 months. When we were leaving the manager was sitting at the bar by herself doing absolutely nothing.

Unfortunately we were unable to be seated at lunch time. It appeared that the restaurant was massively understaffed. If it’s a place no one wants to work, that’s a bad sign. The host said a table would be ready for our party in 5-7 minutes. 15m later, the table wasn’t cleared. I’m giving this rating for our wasted time and to make others aware of the quality of management. If they can’t staff the front of house, how bad are things we can’t see?

We were seated swiftly. The service was amazing, the wait staff were very friendly. The food tasted great! Just an all around great experience, I will definitely be going back.

Thank You Chris H. for taking such good care of us. The food was delicious and arrived timely. Tasty and well cooked and seasoned (salsa is mild with a kick)!

We tried to sit on the patio, but the servers wouldn't let us, they said no kids allowed on the patio. When I asked why, they said because kids make lots of messes. I was appalled at this response. They also tried to encourage us to eat off the dinner menu at lunch. When we asked, we found out there is a "secret" lunch menu you have to scan. Same with kids menus.Food was expensive for what it is, and worse than competitors. Chips and salsa being the exception, they were great!

Such an awesome family owned restaurant with excellent location. The food and drinks are really good. The parking is easy and trouble free.Parking: I love the parking there. I don’t have to deal with the crowds and driving around to find a spot.

Just okay overall, both food and service. The chips taste a bit flour-y and too thin for my liking. The vibe inside is fun though - like Mexican restaurant meets 50s diner.

I frequent this place with my husband every week, anupa never fails to greet us with a warm smile really makes you feel at home. The servers go out of their way to give you outstanding service not to mention their food is exquisite!! It's so hard to believe someone would really go out of their way to delete a review only to re post the same exact one weeks later. How sad does your life have to be to go out of your way to discredit a family owned business. Do not let the review of bitter people in this world fool you into missing out on the best margaritas and food in town.

I went there the other day. I was excited to go back after telling others how good it was. However, this last visit was a huge step back for them.Food: I got burnt fajitas and vegetables and only 3 small flour tortillas for a very large plate. After the food was dropped off, we had to flag him down for something missed. We wouldn't see him until we were ready to leave.Drinks: ordered the special which came in 2 very different sizes. Sadly, we were brought the smallest one even though we had referenced the big one. They had almost no alcohol in them.

Another great meal, service and drink at Senor Patron! We love our neighborhood Mex restaurant. Thank you for excellent service and food. I had the trio enchiladas and my hubby/son had burritos. Delicious

This is my husband and my kick off the weekend place! The ambiance is fun and festive! The food is great! Every now and then I force myself to try something new! Their fajita nachos are awesome! So is their fajita salad and fajitas! I highly recommend enjoying a margarita. I am a fan of the organic margarita or the strawberry organic myself. All of the staff and owner are very friendly! If you are looking for good food, atmosphere and service give it a try!

This establishment use to be a place my family would love to go for a great meal. Over the past several months, we have noticed a decline in their service. We believe this is due to a change in management. The current manager (Anupa) has subpar customer services. She shows no empathy to the customer and takes no ownership for her and her business actions. We normally go to this establishment once or twice a week. We normally spend $50 to $100 on average for meals. We ordered food from them to cater my wife's birthday party on 8/19. We specifically asked for vegan and chicken fajitas. When we received the meal and opened it up once back home. The chicken was mixed with the vegetables. This was unacceptable, if you know how vegan food works. Over 80% of my party was unable to eat the food serviced to us. We then called Senor Patron to complain, she(Anupa) advised us that nothing could be done. She showed no empathy. She also advised that they do not normally cater for a party of 15 and the cutoff was a party of 25. She then proceeded to tell me that she did us a favor by catering for us. You do not pay for favors, so I am not sure how she thought that was an acceptable response. In conclusion, I HIGHLY recommend NOT going to this establishment. They have poor customer service when management is involved. Some of the staff members are okay, but the management is horrible. She takes no ownerships and constantly makes snarky comments while speaking with her. This establishment will not last long, if she continues to manage the location. I have seen nothing but a decline in service and I will never do business with them again!

I will never return to this location. My food was nasty. Took one bite and asked them to take it back and let me order something else. They made me pay for the food that I didn’t eat. Worst customer service experience ever. Do not eat here. If you don’t like your food. You will pay for it anyway.

BEWARE DON'T DO IT!!Terrible Service!! I took family here from out of town, and what was to be a great experience turned into the worst experience. The waiter was horrible, slow, and not attentive! He brought out the wrong food and did not apologize nor try to correct it! All this after we waited over an hour for our food(only one half of the food came out), this was embarrassing. The waiter never came to ask for refills. It was just a terrible experience. I will never return. What a terrible first impression of Alpharetta dining.
