Smallcakes of Alpharetta

Ordered cupcakes for a graduation party and was very unimpressed. I could have baked and decorated the same. Also, ordered them to be delivered and several of them tipped over, ruining what little decor there was. Finally, the webpage shows cupcakes decorated with toppers that were not available, which was VERY disappointing. Don’t advertise what isn’t available.

Addendum...toppers shown, specifically KSU, were not available on the website. I had to order from Amazon.

Hands-down, the absolute best cupcakes and cakes if you need a regular cake, most shops will make one for you. The cake itself is absolutely delicious. Taste just like homemade.

Best cupcakes ever Love these

Truly the worst tasting cupcakes I’ve ever had. The first time I got them was for my husband’s birthday and thought maybe we just got a bad batch. Today we were gifted some by some friends and they were just not edible. They tasted Iike they were probably made wrong. The smell coming out of their box was very strong not in delicious baked goods kind of way. and the taste matched the awful smell. We had to get rid of a huge box of them.

These are the most amazing cupcakes!! I couldn't be any happier with the quality of these ingredients & the variety that they have. I bought an assortment but the lemon was my favorite one .

My best friend and I love smallcakes and we always make it a point to visit during our hangouts. We normally visit the Buford location and were closer to the Alpharetta one today so went there. Unfortunately this location DOES NOT have the SMASH or any ice cream. So if you’re going to stop by just be aware!

Service was great and the girls at the front were really nice. Just wanted to put the FYI out there in case you really wanted a smash like us.

The cupcakes are not good at all at the Alpharetta location. If you’ve been to the Smyrna location then you know the standard they have set for delicious tasting cupcakes. The Alpharetta location cupcakes are on a tangent and don’t reflect what a basic cupcake should taste like. The look of the cupcakes are deceiving because they don’t taste nearly as good as they look. Biscotti flavor was blah, and Strawberry (which was colored pink, topped with pink icing and a strawberry type shortcake crumble) left a lot to be desired.

I haven’t visited small cakes in a long time. I drove about 30minutes to get here. The location is closed from March 10th to 13th. The sign shows they’re taking a short break. Google shows the location is open. This was unfortunate and time lost.

Amazing cupcakes!! Love the fact that they have vegan as well as non vegan cupcakes!!

Yara at the bakery was super friendly and very helpful! Her suggestion of the Oreo cupcake was a hit and it was probably the best one I’ve ever had in my life! Good Job Yara!

I love the cupcakes but they close way early than what’s mentioned. It is usually open till 7 , it is now 6:40 pm and the lady waves “it’s closed”. Happened to me 3 times now. Update the timings if you want to close early

This is my go to spot for cupcakes. The assortment of cupcake es is a sight to see! It’s so hard to make a choice that I usually just end up getting a half a dozen. The owners are amazing. Count me in as a future repeat customer!
