One of the absolute jewels of North Atlanta. Sorella Vicina has become one of our favorite go to restaurants. Fresh made past in house every day and literally every dish I’ve had has been stellar - the lamb ravioli is still my favorite but the paparadella, spaghetti and cacio y Pepe are also spectacular.Wine is always going to be stellar at any restaurant owned by Phillip Cooper and SV is no exception. Tell your friends it’s a must go!

My partner and I had an anniversary meal at Sorella Vicina and it was one of the best meals that we've ever had. Both the food and the atmosphere expertly straddled the line between sophisticated and welcoming. The wine was incredible and served with close attention to detail. We really enjoyed what we ordered (Buffalo De Mozzarella, Asparagus, Tuna Crudo, Anatara Fettuccini Il Fungo) and finished the meal off with an unbelievable Parmesan Cheesecake. We had this dinner a week ago and it has been one of the only things that we have talked about since. It was THAT good. You will love this place!

This place is slightly over priced and I was not impressed with the food or service. I made a reservation on an app and called the restaurant to let them know that My Wife and I were celebrating a special occasion and my message clearly did not get to anyone on the front house staff. My Wife and I ordered an appetizer a salad a pasta and a main dish, the Bronzini. After bringing out the appetizer, our entire meal all came out at once: salad pasta and main course. Someone needs to explain to these people what the Italian words on their menu actually mean: Primi, Secondi, etc. when I told the server we did not want all of our food at once she said that she assumed we did. Frankly, she was young and I don't think she's been to very many nice restaurants that serve food in courses but the manager didn't bother to stop by and offer us dessert or anything either which would've been the appropriate move on their part.. As someone who has worked in the restaurant business almost half my life both in the front of the house and in the kitchen mostly, I wanted to explain to her that she should never assume anything and if she thought that we wanted all our food at once she should've confirmed with her table before stacking it full of food that went cold or looked more like a buffet at Golden corral. The ravioli "pillows "were far from light fluffy pasta and the sauce was a heavy meat sauce that was not impressive. The Bronzino was delicious but overpriced. The food was good but overpriced for what you get. Looked more like a place to see and be seen in Alpharetta so good for them.

Food is fantastic. Servers are knowledgeable, and attentive. Highly recommend the artichoke antipasto. Great atmosphere for a date night. Another winning restaurant for owner Phillip on Cooper.

We wandered in on a Saturday evening. We were sat immediately, which we didn’t expect. The bread was perfectly toasty. The appetizers were a little disappointing. HOWEVER, the main courses were amazing! I had the truffle duck pasta and my dad got the short rib pappardelle. Both were incredible. So rich in flavor and truly a fun experience. The truffle is very potent, but that’s perfect for me! All in all, it was a pleasant surprise and I can’t wait to be back.

This is the best authentic Italian restaurant I have ever been too. Caperdelli for appetizers, pappardella for entree. Amazing. Best steaks also.

We walked in and got seated right away. Let me tell you, this place is the perfect spot for a fantastic date night. Seriously, it's so romantic! Our server, Adrian, totally made our dining experience top-notch. Every dish that came out was like a work of art and tasted absolutely amazing. I mean, the octopus was incredibly tender--I was expecting it to be chewy, but boy was I wrong. And don't even get me started on the salmon! It was to die for, and not a bit dry. And those prawns, oh my goodness! They were an absolute delight. I shall be back!

My wife and I decided to roll in here after sitting in the courtyard of the Hamilton where we listened to a very good live guitarist. It was a completely spontaneous choice to walk into Sorella Vicina as we had planned to walk over to "Made", for a couple of appetizers at the bar there. We walked in and were greeted by Denson Boyd, the GM. We told him we would just sit at the bar and have some appetizers and some wine. He gave us a couple of recommendations for appetizers; the artichoke hearts and the octopus. When we looked at the menu, we decided to go with an appetizer and an entree, so we went with the "fritti artichoke hearts", which were prepared like no other we have had before. Excellent! Then, instead of the octopus, we went with the duck fettuccini (anatra fettuccini il fungo), which was excellent also. This was a seasonal dish for autumn and it was outstanding. Now feeling pretty brave to try one of their desserts, we went with the pana cotta with fig mousse, peppermint leaves and fresh strawberry and blackberry. Wow! Really tasty. Glad we tried a new place! The bartender was awesome also, but didn't catch her name.

Had such an incredible experience here! Me and my friend came for a girls night, and it did not disappoint! Between the service, food, and vibes, everything was amazing. The lamb meatballs and desserts are definitely a must! I was shocked at how much I loved the parmesan cheesecake, it sounds weird but trust me it's amazing. The presentation on all the dishes was also gorgeous.

This is a great place for fine dining! I highly recommend it. The vibes of the place is coastal Italian. The staff was incredibly nice and gave really great recommendations. I got their Grilled 60 South Salmon and it was sooo good. I also had their veal meatballs and the Buffalo de Mozzarella. Highly recommend the veal meatballs. For dessert we got the Parmesan Cheesecake and Rabiola Torte. The Parmesan cheesecake was incredible!

Have you been to this little hidden gem tucked away amid the bustle of downtown Alpharetta? I suspect it isn't on your radar...yet. SoVi sits right next door to the Hamilton hotel. Sounds tasty, am I right? You must make a trip soon as they have a fall-ready menu that will knock your socks!! We had the chance to savor the following: -strip loin carpaccio 10/10 -tuna crudo 10/10 -anatra pasta with duck, butternut squash, truffle 10/10 -short rib topped with gremolata and polenta 10/10 -tiramisu 10/10 -cappuccino 10/10 - they have the equipments for excellence -panna cotta 10/10 -wine selection off the chain - 1,000s of bottles selection in their private wine cellar!! They host 2-wine tastings a month so stay tuned for those details. Follow them on the socials-Ig/tt Need a corporate holiday party venue? Wedding reception rehearsal dinner? Look no further, they have private dining options available and can host 30-40 people. Benson, the GM gave us a private walk through and I am so grateful to learn more about this fabulous new restaurant in the Alpharetta neighborhood. Take a break from the horrible parking at Avalon and wander to this resto for lots of parking options...street, garage, valet. Post dinner there is also an awesome courtyard behind the restaurant that you must check out - Carries Conservatory complete with rocking chairs and turf!
