Food was very disappointing. Had out of town guests and the food was mediocre. Eaten at SCK in midtown (several times) and Buckhead. I love chicken livers and at SCK Avalon they were burnt, overcooked and dry. Hardly edible. I should have sent them back! The okra, fried green tomatoes, bbq shrimp were good. The deviled eggs were ok , not great. The Caesar salad was fair. The burrata salads were just ok . My daughter added salmon to her burrata salad and liked the salmon Two had...
We had a wonderful meal! The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. All the appetizers — pimento cheese, trout spread, and hummus — were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Our entrées (brisket sandwich, hot chicken sandwich, and salmon Caesar) were fresh, perfectly prepared, and very tasty. Great atmosphere and food — highly recommend South City Kitchen Avalon!
EXCELLENT! My husband & I absolutely enjoy our date nights here! Victoria was our waitress & she inspired us on new things to try. Went out of my usual box!! FANTASTIC!! Also they make my FAVORITE Espresso Martini-SUPERB! Cheers
