Food and drinks were great at this location, however, the customer service at the drive through had me never wanting to come back to this location again. The staff member (Maria) was impatient and rude. I understand if it’s busy and I did take a little longer than usual to figure out my order, but at no time do you sigh impatiently at customers and not provide basic customer service manners.
With a newborn in the back seat that was finally sleeping, I decided to treat myself to some coffee only to be met with such rudeness. Thanks Maria dampening what would’ve been a good day.

Ok so I’m not the first customer who had a bad negative experience with Maria in the reviews.
There is no need to show condescending attitude to customers trying to get their technology straight with mobile orders. Seriously.
My grandmother wanted to place an order through her app and I was around the area so I went to pick it up. She was on the phone with me as she was figuring out to submit her order and I had already arrived to the drive-thru. I told Maria that we r placing this specific drink order online. She said she would just take the order and I said “Yeap it’s this drink - it should’ve went through the system.”
I roll around, it turns out she “placed” her kiosk order rather than waiting for the mobile order. She proceeds to use her finger as she speaks to me “I told you to not place that mobile and I can just take the order through the speaker. Now I have to cancel mine.”
To be honest, maybe I missed her note, maybe she missed my note. I apologized if this caused inconvenience but she didn’t acknowledge, kept her unpleasant attitude throughout this interaction, annoyed by the fact she had to cancel her order in the kiosk.
I understand miscommunication can happen. But it’s really not something you should get riled up for, or show fingers and speak to someone in such attitude. They weren’t busy (no cars waiting) and it was just one drink order. (They didn’t even make or waste a drink)
I left the business just feeling uneasy for a drink and service we paid for. Will not be returning to this specific Starbucks location in the future.
One star review is almost never seen in my reviews but this Starbucks breaks that streak!

I tried the sugar cookie late on ice and it was yummy. The little bits of sugar crystals were fun to crunch on. My bacon, egg, gouda sandwich was perfect. My favorite go to :-)

I had a terrible experience this morning with Maria at the Starbucks on Windward, Union Hill, Alpharetta GA.. While I was simply ordering my coffee and cake before heading to work, Maria, for reasons unknown, chose to be extremely rude. She wasn't even the one taking my order or delivering it, but she decided to still barge in and be unnecessarily unpleasant.
I love Starbucks and am a regular customer since it's within walking distance from my home. However, encounters like this make me consider looking for other places where the coffee might not be as good, but the staff is certainly more courteous(and you totally want that, don't you?)
Thanks and I hope you take my feedback on board, as this incident really ruffled my Friday morning.

I ordered hot chocolate, and I got a bitter, watery taste version. Moreover, it looks, well... ?. Anyway, nothing like the hot chocolate served. Please check drinks before serving. Thank you.
Edit: I was on the go and needed to go, having ordered it from the drive thru. By the time I realized about my drink, I was already long gone from the place. Thus, I was disappointed to find my drink as seen in the picture. Overall, some people already have a set expectation or don't have time for one to remake their drink.

I order a hot chocolate did not ask for whipped cream or marshmallows. I got to the last of my drink and felt all of these chunks. They looked green and like mold when you move the drink around in the cup. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I went into the location to show the store manager what was being served. They said they had never seen that before but tried saying that it’s the fat from the milk…. I have never had this happened and I am absolutely disgusted and hoping I don’t get sick from whatever was in the cup considering the manager could not actually determine what it was. They gave me store credit, like I would want to come back and order anything. Something clearly was expired or spoiled in my drink.
Great location, very good service with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The only odd thing here is the exit from this location. It’s a bit weird as it takes you around the store.

I come here a lot for the past 5 years, as the company I work with is close to this Starbucks. My shopping experience starts worsening since the barista “Nadia” started working there 2024. She is fake nice and very rude. She refused to change order for me. The fact she works there had me not want to go there anymore. My last shopping there will be my last shopping.

Rare occasion I went through the drive thru and received some one's breakfast sandwich, when I ordered egg bites; go all the way home before I realized ... Not good when I'm fueling for a tennis match, but I ate a few bites and head to court. This team is normally spot-on, so it surprised me.
