Sushi Nami Alpharetta

Since my first review hasn’t been posted I am submitting a new review. We have been going to sushi nami for years and on 2-21-26 we ordered on line and when we got to the restaurant to pickup the order they said that they were too busy and canceled our order. I have never seen I restaurant that can pick and choose whose order they want to fill. We will never go back.

Your website links to UberOne I have attached photos. It allowed to place an order at your location. You might want to look into why it gives the option. The only reason we tried the online link was because after numerous attempts on the phone we could not get anyone to pick up the phone.

I was also here on Friday night
I am pretty sure “James” is the one who got drunk and acted very immature and rude towards all the staffs here.

We always enjoy visiting Sushi Nami! It is a hidden gem. We have yet to have something we do not like. The food is absolutely incredible, presentation is beautiful and so unique, and they staff treats everyone so special. This is my favorite place to visit on my birthday and they have the best red bean ice cream! I love my Sushi Nami family!!

I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service at this restaurant 12/6/25. When I arrived, there were three hostesses at the front desk. One of them was very polite and immediately welcomed me, even showing us to a table. However, another hostess quickly stepped in and told me that there were no available tables and that the restaurant was fully booked with 6:30 reservations.
She mentioned that although the restaurant looked like it could accommodate us, they were completely booked for the evening. My nine-year-old daughter was heartbroken and began to cry as we left. It was an uncomfortable and confusing situation, especially since there was no real conversation or explanation beyond her looking at us and refusing service.
After leaving, I decided to call and make a reservation online. I even increased the party size from three to four people just to see if that made a difference. Shortly after, I received a voicemail from the restaurant confirming that they had availability and would be happy to accommodate us. This made the earlier refusal even more upsetting, as it clearly showed that tables were available.
I truly don’t understand why we were turned away. The entire experience felt dismissive and unfair. I can’t help but wonder if it had something to do with my appearance or the fact that I had my two children with me. Regardless of the reason, the way we were treated was unacceptable.
This was an unpleasant and disappointing experience, and I will not be returning. I hope management reviews this situation seriously and ensures that no other guests are treated this way in the future.

What a sweet gem!

I was visiting Alpharetta and craving sushi when i asked Chat GPT the best place to get sushi, Sushi Nami popped up so I put it into GPS.
I did struggle to find it, as it shares a building with Volcano Sushi and there is no visible very visible signn; the entrance is around the side of the building.

The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, the hostess/server greeted me as soon a I walked in.

I ordered the “Andy roll” and a side ginger salad (with a large hott sake).
Everything came out quickly and was SO delicious!
Prices are great!

I will definitely return my next visit to Alpharetta.💛
