The Spot sushi bar (former Sushi Uchi)

Order uber eats from here. I only leave a review if I had a good experience, I don’t like to mess with peoples businesses and opinions are subjective. But let me tell you the objective side. Three goyza came in our order, the fried jalapeño roll had only three pieces and the shrimp tempura roll was laughably small. I’m not sure how they cut it so small. I’ve included a photo. For reference I’m 4’11” and have tiny hands, please note the size of the role next to the wasabi dollops. $14 for the shrimp tempura roll and honestly it was like 4 regular pieces in size. I feel so ripped off because their photos don’t represent what you actually get. Also the shrimp was so small like you can’t taste anything when the roll is that small. Nothing tasted bad, it was more of a rip off. $14 for shrimp tempura roll, $5 for three little goyza and $16 for three pieces of the j bomb roll when the photo has four pieces and does not represent what they had online. Like I said see photos attached.

Great place and service!!! I was so distracted with how good the food was I forgot to take photos.

From the moment I walked in the door, I was well greeted. The Rainbow Roll was the best I have ever has, since I left California.
The Tuna, and Salmon were so fresh they melted in my mouth.

Excellent sushi, excellent service, fabulous meal.

Just great quality and fresh sushi.

I love coming here for their sushi. Fish are always fresh with reasonable pricing. My favorite of all times here are their spicy rolls. I'm very particular about my spicy rolls; there are not that many places that know how to make these traditional rolls right. My order for spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, and spicy yellow tail roll were on the point and tasted amazing!

Sushi was fresh and excellent quality. However, it was all accompanied with the same simple soy sauce. The Hibatchi Shrimp was over cooked and lacked flavor. Appetizers were ok. We spent $300 for three people. An ok experience but nothing exceptional.

I was in town for work and needed to get away for a moment to catch up on emails. Found this sushi bar, sat down, ordered the sushi box, and absolutely loved it. The nigiri was cut really thick, which was awesome! The eel nigiri was my personal favorite. Definitely bringing people with me next time!

It seems that there has been a change in ownership of this restaurant which used to be called "Sushi Uchi". It was my first time ever since they change the name to The Spot Sushi Bar. Food was great (the new sushi man whom I believe new owner of this restaurant is serious about making sushi rather than making money) and service was great as well. Size and quality of sushi I had for lunch was just perfect. Highly recommended.

The best quality in Sushi. Sushi has been one of my best food, and this place provides the top quality of sashimi and sushi. This place is cozy but sort of crowded. Highly recommended
