I recently dined at Tarka Indian Kitchen in Houston and had a mostly positive experience. The food was flavorful and satisfying, offering a delightful array of Indian dishes. However, I would advise potential diners to avoid ordering extra hot dishes unless you're really up for a spicy challenge; the heat level can be overwhelming. Overall, it’s a decent spot for tasty Indian cuisine, but be mindful of the spice levels when placing your order.

We tried a weekend buffet here. Decent veg and non veg starters with chicken, goat, fish and egg entries. Everything tested very average and none were like outstanding as such. Biriyani was worst and the desert section was just pathetic for which I am forced to rate them 3 stars! Just a fruit custard, a brownie and jello cubes none were good! there was not a single item that you would want to try it for 2nd time!

Service and ambience was good!

Service was VERY slow although the restaurant was pretty empty. I asked for non spicy dish and got spicy dish, asked for additional Nan and never got it...

Stopped in for dinner and it was delicious! I got the lamb with Biryani rice bowl with roasted veggies and vindaloo sauce and a splash of hot chili sauce. Also got a very berry smoothie. The lamb was tender and flavorful and the entire dish was delicious! The smoothie was yummy too :) Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a quick tasty Indian meal.

Very bad experience. All the food is stale and cold. Non veg is bad. Never had such horrible experience in this place. Seems like no one is interested to work. At lunch time peak hours and restaurant is empty. What is wrong with this place. Don’t know. Definitely Not turning back again…

Hello All, just wanted to let you know that the last week we have been to Tadka restaurant the food was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, and the overall experience was quite different from what used to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic North Indian taste during dinner. Thanks for the great recommendation!. Food test has change 180 degree. I personally suggest don’t go for this review. Ppl may had bad experiences but now I would say best in Alpharetta. I had real saag paneer @ Tadka.
