It is our 3rd year going for my parents anniversary and my bday. The food and drinks are excellent. We have had Andre and Peyton as our servers as well. Andre was attentive and everything was perfect! The manager Karina is always amazing! Thank you for making it another amazing year!! We will see u again next year!! 10 stars!!

This is a really cute restaurant and the service was great. There were four in our party and all had different items. All were good and was what we expected. Not bad, but not great either. We all wish there was a little more flavor to the items.

I have been to the Cape many times. First time i was not fully happy. Waited for host for a while even though restaurant was not full. Server was ok not what we have experienced before. Food took longer then usual. Would i go again? Sure but maybe not crave it like i used to.

We had a mixed experience at the Cape. The drinks were delicious, the food quite good. It's a fun atmosphere, albeit very loud. The wait staff seemed young and without leadership, so service was inconsistent.

The food and drinks were AMAZING! This is our 2nd time to the Cape. Our server was not great but he did let us know he was new and just got out of training; however, he did give great recommendations.

This was our first visit to The Cape and it won't be our last. Fantastic food and ambiance. It did get a little loud as we were leaving (8:30 pm ish) but the restaurant was at capacity at that point with lots of happy chatty tables. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there.

Our Server not very responsive while dining. Food came out separate and not at same time. No smiles unfriendly and didn't look like they were excited to be working.

Nice upstairs outside bar/restaurant or if too hot you can eat inside. Short walk from The Hotel at Avalon(Marriott). Food was excellent, along with service. But we ate late afternoon/early evening. Not busy. Nice area with lots of shops.

I love this restaurant! I love the seasonal menu. The spicy tuna sushi and shrimp tacos are to die for. I also love the pomegranate margarita. Every visit is exceptional. One of my favorite places in Avalon.

Food is always amazing. The halibut with broccolini and the steak frites are our typical go-tos. Perfection! Love being able to get Stellenbosch wines too. Andre is always a delight. He knows when he is needed or not. Really gives you the space to enjoy the meal.

The Cape Restaurant at Avalon:

The Cape boasts excellent food. The festive holiday touches, peppermint espresso martini, and the curry beef crepe with hollandaise sauce and classic french fries were all delightful. The flavors were well-balanced and the presentation was appealing.
However, the service left something to be desired. Several staff members walked past me without a greeting or a check-in, which felt a bit pretentious and inattentive.
Overall:
Despite the service shortcomings, the delicious food makes The Cape worth a visit. I recommend trying the curry beef crepe( bobotie).

We love the atmosphere of this restaurant. They have a great menu but some of the dishes are bland and overpriced.
