The Cape Restaurant & Beach Bar

I had a wonderful Girl's Day in Alpharetta and we chose The Cape to celebrate. The establishment was beautiful inside amd out. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and attentive,from the appetizers to drinks and entrees everything was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. I will be visiting again soon!

Hostess was pretty rude seating us, acting like we were a bother. Service was spotty. Food was expensive & not really that good (both meals) and ended up getting sick later that night. Overall not happy, would not recommend.

We had an excellent dinner at The Cape. Dined on the upstairs patio which was lovely; much quieter than the downstairs dining room! We had the grilled peach burrata salad, one halibut entree and one chicken piccata entree. Everything was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Service was excellent. We had a frozen espresso martini for "dessert"; DELICIOUS!6

As always, my experience and great food never disappoints. I'm simply addicted to the Shrimp Tempura roll and the Smash-burger is amazing. I live at the Avalon and it's truly one of my favorite restaurants to dine. Thank you so much. BT

The service was Excellent, the server was very kind and helpful. The food overall was tasty but the snapper was OVERPRICED and overly cooked. It was very small . Other than that we will return

The cauliflower curry appetizer was amazing. The sushi to our surprise was really good. Everything from the food to the excellent service by Lacinda was excellent.

Great location and atmosphere. The chicken dish is excellent. Lamb was slightly under cooked and not enough flavor. A little tight and loud but over all a great place to experience

The food is absolutely awesome. The service is even better. Beautiful romantic setting. sadly there was a group of extremely drunk people at the bar, that were screaming, yelling, and belligerent. At one moment, it was so loud, I seriously thought they were fighting. This is something I would expect at a very rowdy bar and not a fancy high-priced restaurant. I mentioned the situation to the manager, and they acknowledged the problem, but did nothing to resolve it. Several other couples having a romantic dinner were also clearly disgusted, and annoyed. It was so inappropriate, that it made me feel uncomfortable. Quite simply, the restaurant management needs to decide if they are a high-end, high priced, restaurant, or if they are going to cater to drunks at the bar. Hopefully this was an isolated incident, as I would really like to go back.

Well Makhala was a good server. Doug enjoyed his ostrich sliders. My fish sandwich was fried to death - crust so heavy you couldn't even taste the miniature piece of fish. Fries were great! Cute atmosphere. Wouldn't go back - not a horrible experience but so many places to experience better.

We held a dinner there with a party of eight yesterday evening, and the food and service were great. The most common entrées ordered were the halibut as well as the chicken piccata. Several of the appetizers were also outstanding.

Had a smash burger... Was way too salty. Sushi appetizer was great. Service was good. Bar was busy so it took extra time for drinks to be served.

Lovely beach-style restaurant with a modern, eclectic twist. HVAC chills to the max to give you that escape from the beach feel. Plants on the ceiling are a nice touch to give you that Atlantic Georgia coast vibe although a little on the expensive side.
