Thoom's Thai Kitchen

This is one of our favorite restaurants! We love the food here; we are regulars! Great for vegan/ vegetarian as many items are made without fish paste including vegan curries and papaya salad. We've had several large parties here with children and the staff were extremely kind. They've gone out of their way to ensure we had the perfect experience. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality of the food and generous portions; we usually take home for the next day.

Food is great and draft is nice. But it’s a bit expensive for what you get.

I’ve found the dishes to sit lighter than other Thai restaurants around. I didn’t feel gross afterwards, which isn’t always the case.

The real standout here are the basil rolls. Every Thai restaurant has a basil roll option, but the rice paper wrapping was executed perfectly, the filling ingredients were immaculately balanced, and the peanut sauce was perfectly nutty. These may be the best basil rolls I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming, and I’ve probably eaten at 20+ Atlanta Thai restaurants.

The portioning is perfect too, an issue at other places. I am excited to try more dishes here in the future. Very cozy ambiance.

I was excited to try this place after reading some reviews, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. I ordered the Basil Chicken, and what I received was far from what I expected. The chicken was minced, which was surprising and off-putting. To make matters worse, it had a stale taste, and the vegetables were not fresh at all. They were also served very sparingly, which made the dish feel incomplete and lacking in flavor.

This place definitely did not live up to the hype. Based on this experience, I will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to others. There are far better options out there for a good meal.

Really love the Thai food here, they accommodated our vegetarian requests and the tastes were great for entire family. Really happy to have found this gem even though we have to drive 45 min. Totally worth it. Servers were very nice too

I will give one rating for atmosphere as staff in the kitchen were constantly fighting and making loud noise throughout our lunch. We had our team lunch and we couldn’t get chance to interact much and not able to eat peacefully. Food is very good but staff need to learn some ethics.

Please order online from this place. Don’t even think of making the mistake of dining in. The service sucks!
If you walk in after 8 pm you can sense that you’re not welcome just by the look on their faces

We were here on a weeknight for dinner, just 3 of us and the place was empty! The server was quite friendly and the food was decent! Nothing to write home about but average food. What annoyed me the most was that when the bill came, he said its restaurant’s policy to add 20% tip for parties or 2 and up. I have never heard of this kinda policy from any restaurant and there was no mention of this on the menu or anywhere else. I would have probably left the same tip since the service was good but making such policies on the fly is just not good business practice!

Ordered Thoom's Thai to-go and WOW, the amount of food I received was perfect. Let's not forget how just AMAZING the food tasted. I was only visiting, but who ever lives in the area, you're so lucky!
