Uptown Cafe

I had an amazing experience at Uptown Café! The service was outstanding, especially from Terry, the waitress. She crafted the most delicious hot chocolate with that special whipped cream if you know, you know! The Uptown Breakfast was also fantastic. It’s definitely a place worth checking out. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by Uptown Café and enjoy the experience!

Man I’m not one to dislike a diner, but this place did not fit the ticket for me. I got the sampler plate and added a pancake to the side, and i did not love anything on my plate. The bacon was burnt to a crisp, the hash browns were slimy, the ham was razor thin and the pancake was dry. Tbh I would’ve preferred Waffle House over this. The only great thing was the screwdriver for the pour.

Tbh, don’t see myself coming back here. Left hungry and overall not my speed. And that’s only because I have never had a diner miss like this.

When we walked in, the two staff members were having a conversation and didn’t turn to acknowledge us after what felt like a full minute, once sat our server didn’t seem genuine and almost annoyed that we came in to eat. I didn’t appreciate seeing cleaning rags and to go boxes on a dining chair at a table in front of us, either. On the bright side, the food was good, very affordable, and I loved the home made whipped cream. I don’t think I would return to visit unless I knew these few issues were resolved.

My wife and I go here often for breakfast and brunch. My wife enjoys the Sunrise Special breakfast and I like the Denver omelette with hash browns. Prices are reasonable and the breakfasts are consistently good and cooked to order. We like crispy bacon.

Regular meeting place for my friend and I, about once a month, and I can tell it’s a regular meeting place for others as well. Great breakfast menu, great service, pleasing atmosphere. Great for conversation.
