One of our favorite places to go to for date night. The food never disappoints, and their white wine selection is perfect for our tastes.
My boyfriend and I dined here to start off our anniversary festivities. Wilson took care of us and had great energy. We had fried calamari and spicy feta dip (my favorite) to start. I wish we had a bit more pita but that's just my preference. I had the mussels which were delicious and my boyfriend really enjoyed the lamb gyro. Next time I will probably request a booth for better ambience for our date.

From appetizers to the main entrees and dessert , the meal was delicious. The melitsanosalata, and dolmades starters were quite good. The main course Lavraki whole sea bass was perfect and the tableside fish preparation was excellent. The orzo salad and grilled vegetables were the perfect side dishes and the pita bread was also very tasty.The shrimp gyro perfect. The baklava for dessert was fresh and the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Service by Noah was attentive and the manager also made sure we were well taken care of.

It's a good introduction to hearty, both rich and light, Greek food. The restaurant is more pricey than average. The outside seating is widespread and definitely accommodates for large parties.

If you haven’t been here you simply have to go. You’ll feel like you’re family visiting from the old country and being very well taken care of. Service is a lost art…that will always have a home at VK.

The service and food was fanatic. The only issue I had was after ordering from the set menu ($90/person)for valentines day I saw others eating gyros! That wasn't on the valentines menu nor was I given a regular menu to choose from. In my opinion they should've given me the option to order off the regular menu or the valentines menu. Obviously the other table was given a choice (gyros). I felt dupped. Just my opinion. Maybe next year they'll only serve from 1 menu as opposed to picking and choose who gets a regular menu and who gets a valentines menu. Other than that, again the food and service was great!
Always a tremendous experience, all the food @ Vas Kouzina is so authentic & fresh. They serve incredible dishes from both locations that make you feel like you were guests in their home. It is both unique & excellent. Don't be fooled by any of the local imitators and/or wannabes claiming to be better than Vas...they don't know what they're talking about, and it's simply untrue. We have easily eaten here 30+ times over the years & never had a bad meal.

Kaylee our server was excellent. She knew the menu very well and was very helpful. The food was good. I did think $10.00 for roasted cauliflower was a little bit crazy. Would I go back? If someone I knew wanted to go, I would. I don't know if I would suggest it.
Tuna tartar was 80% avacado. Service was sketchy, temps were either hell on earth or frozen tundra. $100 meal was worth about $30. Not impressed at allBlaming the customer for a bad experience seems an odd “avenue” to take as well. We’ve had a better experience at this location in the past but last night was not Vaz’s best night.

It was double date night and all of us were new to the restaurant. When we walked in we liked it immediately. We were greeted warmly; the whole vibe was great. Love the decor! And the height of the booths is great for privacy. Our server, Kaylee, was fantastic as was the food. We will definitely be going back!

Been here 4-5 times disillusioned by the high Yelp reviews. The food except for 1 time has been mediocre to bad. We thought maybe we weren't ordering the right entrees. We ordered the chicken souvlaki and the lamb gyro. Both were very dry. The GM was walking around a few times asking people how the food was but skipped our table many times. We didn't complain so he had no apparent reason to avoid. The young lady at check in was kind of rude and asked us if we had reservations when the place was nearly empty. Fortunately we had reservations but she was talking to her coworker about what her thoughts were if we didn't have reservations. Finally, at checkout I noticed that the receipt has a “Non-cash adjustment” charge. I have never seen that type of charge in any restaurant before so I thought it was weird. Highly unlikely that we will ever come back again.

Buyer beware the check did come with a 21.5% gratuity included and a non cash adj fee. There is no information on the menu or the establishment that outlines that there will be a non cash fee (pay with credit card.) there were 8 people in my party, we alerted the manager and he said that this was becoming a normal restaurant procedure which makes no sense. A restaurant norm is 18% not almost 21% gratuity. They are obviously nickel and dining customers. I spent over $500 on the meal which was delicious and the service was good. But check your bill.

We had an early NYE dinner at Vas Kouzina last night. Started out with drinks at the bar. Our bartender, Stone, makes an awesome martini and he's a super nice guy. Caroline explained the menu and helped us make the perfect selections. We had octopus for an appetizer (a little overly salted), followed by beet salad and Lavraki for dinner. Salad was wonderful and fresh. The Lavraki was OUTSTANDING !!! It seriously tasted like it had just been pulled out of the sea an hour earlier. Our server, Dave, was attentive and our food was served with perfect timing. There are many restaurants in Alpharetta to choose from. VK has put together a great staff who are dedicated to providing their customers with a great dining experience. The Chef is truly gifted at preparing excellent Greek dishes. Great overall experience!!
