Our impromptu stop on the way to Jax and a good one at that! Freshly fried chicken, gizzards, fries, hushpuppies, apple pie turnover, mozz sticks...goodness. Everything was hot and fresh, with the staff being patient as my family figured out what they wanted as people came and went with purpose and good eats. Lightly breaded, the chicken is a star but we all enjoyed everything else too. Gizzards as a side is a beautiful thing. Dunked into some hot sauce and I feel reset to head...
Always fresh and hot. Cheeseburger my way lol and fresh hot chicken filet sandwich today and well worth it ! Always good food! Thanks again guys ! And if you were to put TATER LOGS on the menu well!!!! I'd be there every day lol! Friendly people too!
Carter's is off the beaten path a bit but if you value taste over location, Carter's is the place to go. My go-to items are chicken thighs and gizzards. The breading is flavorful and crunchy, the food is always fresh.
