I wish my DH had not ordered the nachos because it was the same pile of mush as my pulled pork. Too bad they didn't give us the sour cream as was stated on the menu, that might have made it edible. Asked for a go box but just left it on the table, it was that disgusting

My daughter and her fiance' chose to go with Boyds BBQ for their wedding reception. I totally agree with their choice. They delivered not only a top notch service of getting their early to setup, provided top quality BBQ of taste and provide excellent feedback for options, and their service was excellent. The food was excellent, talk with Mr. Boyd and hearing his opinions on what he performed at other receptions in the past helped making decisions easier for my daughters reception. For all out place to eat or for any venue setting looking for some great BBQ and service I would turn to Boyd's BBQ. Thank you all again, you made the wedding reception look easy.

Place my order online, was given a confirmation text with a pick-up time, but when I arrived they had not even started to cook my food. However, overall it was a good experience, food was very good and I only had to wait about 10-15 minutes. I would suggest you call in rather than order online.

Pulled bbq plate was almost cold and pulled pork looked like mashed potatoes only brown. Desser and, cold slaw served in separate containers. Charged .75 cents for glass of water. Overall very disappointed. Would not recommend.
This is hands down the best BBQ in GA. I've tried a lot of local and chain restaurant BBQ in both North and South GA and you just can't beat Boyd's. The meat is consistently tender, and the flavor (even before their sauce) is absolutely delicious. It's not too smokey. The meat doesn't have any hard chunks, and is shredded to perfection. I couldn't ask for more from a BBQ sandwich. My other favorite item on their menu is the fried okra! It's breading is top notch and it's not overcooked which is easy to do with okra. It's got great flavor and while I am partial to my mama's cooking, this fried okra is SUPERIOR to even her's. If you're reading this and you are ever in Bainbridge, I recommend paying a visit to this place! I promise you've never had tastier food!
